Some people informed each other, and after the life-endowed one prepared the bed for Acharya, they placed water for washing feet and a cloth for wiping feet. Then they said to each other: "Venerable ones, today we have eaten bad food and cannot recite, let us generate mindfulness for a while." Having said this, they entered the measuring room, sat in the lotus position, and began to meditate. The life-endowed Acharya also waited until their assembly talk ended. When their assembly talk ended, at the time when his sight was lost, he came to the temple and began to call out: "Venerable ones, venerable ones." The monks said to him: "Life-endowed Acharya, why are you calling out as if you have entered a dense reed thicket?" Acharya said: "Some of my young ones are there, has any of them become ill?" Having heard this, they said: "Teacher, do not call out. A bed has been prepared in the dwelling, and water for washing feet and a cloth for wiping feet have also been placed there, please rest there. Today we have eaten bad food and cannot recite, so we are meditating in this measuring room for a while." Acharya said: "Venerable ones, didn't the Blessed One say that there is no wisdom without reading? Come, recite." Having said this, he put them together and made them recite all night long. The next morning, they got up early and said: "Teacher, we prostrate! We are leaving. Where are you going? To Shravasti. Wait a moment, I will take care of you who are sick." "Teacher, you have made us who are not sick also sick, and you still take care of the sick, that's enough." Having said this, they went to Shravasti. The monks said to them: "Venerable ones, welcome! Welcome! Did you have a good journey? Did you have a good journey? We were bound by the teacher Acharya all night long." "How were you bound?" They told the monks in detail about the situation at that time. Those monks with few desires scolded: "Why do these people deliberately think of the monks and slander the monks? They are reproaching, they are rebuking."

On that occasion, the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One said: If a monk flatters another monk even slightly, it will always become a cause of downfall. Vinayavibhaṅga, Volume 45. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Park in Shravasti. At that time, the venerable Charka said to the new monks: Venerable ones, please come! Let's go on a pilgrimage, and there we will also defeat the opponents. We will also proclaim our own fame. We will also acquire gains, and you will also be free from the busyness of alms bowls, Dharma robes, nets, bowls, belts, scriptures, recitations, yoga, and mental activities. After he encouraged them in this way, those monks asked their teachers and preceptors: Preceptor, we are going on a pilgrimage. With whom? With the venerable Charka. Venerable ones, he is one who always engages in bad conduct, so he will flatter you. Preceptor, the venerable Charka is like our parents, so why would he flatter us? They disregarded those words and went on a pilgrimage with him. When Charka crossed the outer boundary, he said: Venerable ones, why do you go on a pilgrimage without determining a dwelling place? Come, let's determine a dwelling place. He made them squat in front of him and had them determine a dwelling place. He gave some of them water pots, some of them alms bowl containers, some of them middle containers, some of them bowls, and some of them general medicine containers. They stretched out their hands, having nothing but sweat cloths, and as they flattered the world and walked, they went to a rocky mountain, where they rested by a well. There was a rocky temple there, and when the gaṇḍī was struck, they heard it and said: Teacher, the gaṇḍī is being struck in the temple. Charka said: Who but those with black alms bowls would strike the gaṇḍī of work?

Beating, we tired people must work, it will become such a situation! Did the Abbot find the ghanta? If so, we can get it if we go to the border. The Abbot is a person with great fame and merit, we can get it, who will give alms to us? If we can find it today, give me one. They dug a hole, how long did they beat the ghanta of the residence there, the monks said: Venerable ones, look for a residence! They said: There are also older ones than us. Who is it? It is Abbot Chaga. Look for his too! They looked for a residence. Venerable Chaga was also there, living with noisy words, whose is this cliff? Whose is this temple? Whose is this shrine? Whose is this garden? Whose is this monastery? Whose is this well? Whose is this field? Whose are these cows? Whose are these buffaloes? Thus he lives with noisy words! They also thought: Abbot Chaga will be delayed for a long time, thinking, they asked each other: Venerable Chaga's bed is already prepared, foot water and foot rubbing are completely prepared, they said to each other: Venerable ones, today we ate the alms food, let's recite together for a while, they started to recite together. Venerable Chaga also stayed as long as his noisy speech partner was there, when his noisy speech partner was not there, when the line of sight disappeared, he came to the temple and asked them: Venerable ones, what are you doing? Abbot, we have enjoyed the alms food today, let's recite together for a while. Chaga said: Venerable ones, didn't the Blessed One say that there is no wisdom without meditation? Come here, meditate, so he locked them in the room for measuring rice, made them sit in vajra posture, and then tied them up with ropes at night. They got up early the next morning and said: Abbot, we pay homage! We are leaving! Where are you going? To Shravasti. Wait a minute, I will take care of you sick people. Abbot, you also for us who are not sick
