་ནོར་བུས་སྤྲས་པ་དང་། གསེར་དང་དངུལ་གྱིས་བརྒྱན་པའི་གོས་དག་གིས་སེང་གེའི་ཁྲི་བཤམས་པ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་དག་འགྱོད་པས་མི་འདུག་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཁྱིམ་པའི་གོས་དག་ཡིན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། མི་རྟག་པ་ཉིད་ཡིད་ལ་བྱ་བས་ཟིལ་གྱིས་མནན་ནས་འདུག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། འདི་ལ་འགྱོད་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་གནས་མལ་མི་འབྲུབ་ཅིང་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་འདོར་བ་ན་དེ་དག་མ་རུང་བར་གྱུར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་དག་ཀྱང་བྲུབ་པར་བྱའོ། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་གཅིག་ལ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དགོན་པ་དང་། གྲོང་མཐའ་པ་གཉིས་ཡོད་ནས་དེའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་གྲོང་མཐའ་པ་ན་ནི་གནས་མལ་མང་དུ་ཡོད་ལ། གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དགོན་པ་ན་ནི་གནས་མལ་ཉུང་ངོ་། །དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་དགོན་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་དུས་སྟོན་བྱུང་ནས། དགེ་སློང་དགོན་པ་པ་དག་གི་གྲོང་མཐའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ནས་གནས་མལ་གཡར་བ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་གྲོང་མཐའ་པ་དག་གིས་མ་སྟེར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བརྙན་པར་བྱའོ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཆར་འབབ་བམ། ཆར་འབབ་དུ་དོགས་ན་བརྙན་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །ལམ་ཀར་རླུང་དང་། ཆར་བབ་པས་དེ་དག་མ་རུང་བར་གྱུར་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཤིང་ལྗོན་པའི་དྲུང་ངམ། རྩིག་དྲུང་དུ་བཅེར་ཏེ་རྫས་གཅིག་གིས་གཡོག་པར་བྱའོ། །དེ་དག་རྫས་བཟང་པོས་གཡོག་པར་བྱེད་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རྫས་ངན་པས་གཡོག་པར་བྱའོ། །དུས་སྟོན་ཟིན་ནས་དེ་དག་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་འདི་ཡང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེའི་ཡིན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་ཕྱིར་མི་འབུལ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མཐུས་དགུག་པར་བྱའོ། །ངོ་མི་ཤེས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། གནས་མལ་འདི་ནི་ཁྱིམ་ བདག་ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞིག་གི་དགོན་པའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་གི་ཡིན་ནོ། །འདི་ནི་གྲོང་མཐའི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་གི་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་ཡི་གེ་བྲི་ཞིང་གནས་མལ་ཇི་ལྟར་ངེས་པར་བྱས་པ་བཞིན་དུ་ལོངས་སྤྱད་པར་བྱའོ། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་གཉིས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་གོ །མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །གང་གི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བགྲེས་པའི་མཐའ་ལོགས་ན་བཞུགས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་བགྲེས་པའི་མཐའ་བརྗིད་པར་གྱུར་ཅིང་། གང་གི་ཚེ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བགྲེས་པའི་མཐའ་ལོགས་ན་མི་བཞུགས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་བགྲེས་པའི

Having decorated the lion throne with jewels and adorned it with clothes embellished with gold and silver, the monks sat down without regret. The Blessed One then instructed, 'You should wear the clothes of householders, and you should subdue yourselves with the thought of impermanence and abide here, without regret.' The monks did not tidy up the monastic dwellings and discarded them carelessly, causing them to become unsuitable. The Blessed One then instructed, 'Those should also be tidied up.' A certain householder had two monasteries, one in a village and one in a forest. The village monastery had many dwellings, while the forest monastery had few. On another occasion, a festival occurred at the forest monastery, and the monks from the forest monastery borrowed dwellings from the village monastery, but the monks from the village monastery refused to lend them. The Blessed One then instructed, 'They should be covered.' 'If it is raining or if there is a suspicion of rain, they should not be covered.' On the road, wind and rain caused those things to become unsuitable. The Blessed One then instructed, 'They should be piled up under a tree or against a wall and covered with one item.' They covered them with good items. The Blessed One then instructed, 'They should be covered with bad items.' After the festival ended, they thought, 'This monastery also belongs to that householder,' so they did not return them. The Blessed One then instructed, 'They should be demanded back with force.' If they did not recognize them, the Blessed One instructed, 'This dwelling belongs to the forest monastery of such-and-such householder, and this one belongs to the village monastery.' Write labels and use them according to how the dwellings are designated. The householder Anāthapiṇḍika went to where the Blessed One was, and upon arriving, he bowed his head to the Blessed One's feet and sat down to one side. Having sat down to one side, the householder Anāthapiṇḍika said this to the Blessed One: 'When the Blessed One dwells near the elderly, the vicinity of the elderly becomes magnificent; when the Blessed One does not dwell near the elderly,
