They quarreled and blamed each other. At that time, the monks reported this matter to the Bhagavan. Then, the Bhagavan, because of this event, this origin, this occasion, convened the monastic community of monks, etc., as before. The Buddhas Bhagavan, knowing full well, still asked questions, etc., also as before. The Buddha Bhagavan rebuked the group of six monks: "Monks, is it true that you engage in divisive speech among the monks?" "Venerable One, it is." The Buddha Bhagavan rebuked, saying, "This is not the conduct of a Shramana, it is not in accordance, it is not appropriate, it is not in accordance with the rules, this is not something that a renunciate should do." Monks, in the past, in a certain forest, there lived a pregnant lioness. The habit of lionesses is that when the mating season arrives, they gather pieces of meat to mate. Therefore, that lioness followed behind a large herd of cows, and not long after following the cows, she gave birth to a calf, and that lioness followed behind the herd of cows, walking.
