It will not lead to downfall. How does it lead to downfall through eleven bases? Regarding what has not been seen, not been heard, and not been doubted, he alters his perception, alters his forbearance, desire, wisdom, thought, and view, and says, 'I have seen it.' 'I have heard it.' 'I have doubted it.' If he says this, everything he says becomes a Sanghavasesa. He has seen it, and he also speaks of it; he has heard it, and he also forgets it; he has doubted it, and he also forgets it; he alters his perception, alters his forbearance, desire, wisdom, thought, and view, and says, 'I have seen it, and I have not forgotten it.' 'I have heard it, and I have not forgotten it.' 'I have doubted it, and I have not forgotten it.' If he says this, everything he says becomes a Sanghavasesa. Believing after hearing, he says, 'I have seen it'; not believing after hearing, he says, 'I have seen it'; doubting after hearing, he says, 'I have seen it'; not doubting after hearing, he says, 'I have seen it'; doubting after doubting, he says, 'I have seen it.' If he says this, everything he says becomes a Sanghavasesa. Thus, it leads to downfall through eleven bases. How does it not lead to downfall through six bases? Regarding what has not been seen, not been heard, and not been doubted, he does not alter his perception, does not alter his forbearance, desire, wisdom, thought, and view, and says, 'I have seen it, I have heard it, I have doubted it.' If he says this, it does not lead to downfall. He has seen it, and he has not forgotten it; he has heard it, and he has not forgotten it; he has doubted it, and he has not forgotten it; he does not alter his perception, does not alter his forbearance, desire, wisdom, thought, and view, and says, 'I have seen it, and I have not forgotten it.' 'I have heard it, and I have not forgotten it.' 'I have doubted it, and I have not forgotten it.' If he says this, it does not lead to downfall. Thus, it does not lead to downfall through six bases. Just as defaming an impure person leads to downfall through eleven bases and does not lead to downfall through six bases, so too, defaming an impure person who pretends to be pure also leads to downfall through eleven bases and does not lead to downfall through six bases. Conclusion.

There is no downfall in proclamation. There is no downfall even after drawing on the face, if one thinks that just as I know, all the world also knows. There is no downfall for beginners, the insane, the mentally disturbed, and those afflicted by feelings. Monks, having arisen with doubts, in order to cut off all doubts, they asked the Buddha Bhagavan: Venerable one, what deed did the wealthy Gyadbu do, that by the ripening of that deed, he was born into a wealthy, rich, and greatly enjoying family? What deed did he do, that he went forth into the Bhagavan's teaching, abandoned all defilements, and manifested himself as an Arhat? What deed did he do, that even though he attained Arhatship, he was falsely accused? What deed did he do, that he was shown to be the best of those who give dwellings? The Bhagavan said: Monks, the son of a noble family, Gyadbu himself did and accumulated deeds of gathering wealth, transforming circumstances, abiding like light, and appearing without being devoured by demons, who else will experience separately the deeds done and accumulated by Gyadbu himself? Monks, the deeds done and accumulated will not ripen in the external earth element, will not ripen in the water element, will not ripen in the fire element, will not ripen in the wind element, but thus, the good and bad deeds done and accumulated will ripen in the aggregates, elements, and sense bases that have been taken, the deeds, even for hundreds of kalpas, will not be exhausted, and when the causes and conditions are gathered, they will become fruits for sentient beings. Monks, in the past, there was a mountain cliff, where there was a captain named Gyalchen, who took goods to go to the great ocean, and together with his companions, sailed to the great ocean. In times when Buddhas do not appear, those who prefer remote dwellings to compassion for the lowly and poor, like a rhinoceros horn, alone become worthy of offerings in the world, appear in the world. Then, a Pratyekabuddha traveled with that captain, and that night,
