Born in a bad place. We are now cruel red-handed ones, engaged in striking and violently striking, taking the lives of others, ordering others to kill, and making a living by killing. What will become of the beings of those of us who die from here? What will become of rebirth? What will become of the future life? If we were not born into a low caste, we would also go forth into the well-spoken Dharma-Vinaya, and strive, endeavor, and exert ourselves in order to cross the rivers and to completely transcend the unions. How could we not have such thoughts in our hearts? Good men, for the teachings of the Buddha Shakyamuni, what is important is not caste, not family, not lineage, but practice. It is also said: The Tathagatas do not discriminate between caste, family, and lineage, but even after a long time, they completely observe the actions. If you wish to go forth into the well-spoken Dharma-Vinaya and desire the state of a Bhikshu, come here. Children, let us go to where the Bhagavan is, and the Bhagavan will ordain you. The noble one said: Very well, if that is so, we will go forth in the presence of the Bhagavan. Then, the venerable Shariputra led those five hundred sons of noble families to where the Bhagavan was, and upon arriving, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the venerable Shariputra said to the Bhagavan: Venerable one, these five hundred sons of noble families, if they wish to go forth into the well-spoken Dharma-Vinaya and desire the state of a Bhikshu, may the Bhagavan, out of compassion, ordain them and grant them full ordination. The Bhagavan said to them: Bhikshus, come! Thus he ordained them, and said to the Bhikshus: Come, practice the pure conduct! After saying this, they...

Merely by the conclusion of the Blessed One's teachings, they shaved their heads and donned robes. Their hair and beards had only grown for about seven days, and their hands were busy with begging bowls and water pots, behaving like monks who had taken full ordination and were a hundred years old. It was also said, "By the Tathagata's command to 'Come here,' possessing bodies with shaved heads and wearing robes, they remained in the four meditative states, and their bodies were covered by the Buddha's intention." Then, after the Blessed One had five hundred noble sons ordain and receive full ordination, they resided as they pleased in Vaisali, wandering to the village called Radiant City, and eventually wandering to Radiant City, where they stayed in the Sal tree grove north of the village. At that time, there was a terrible famine, and it was difficult for monks to find food, and even parents found it difficult to provide food for their children, and it was difficult to do anything, let alone beggars like myself. Then the Blessed One said to the monks: "Monks, now there is a terrible famine, and it is difficult for monks to find food, and even parents find it difficult to provide food for their children, and it is difficult to do anything, let alone beggars. Monks, how about you come here to inquire, how about saying to go, how about knowing to go together, and spend the summer retreat in the village of refuge near Vaisali? I will also spend the summer retreat here in Radiant City with the attendant monk Ananda. It would not be good if everyone were troubled by begging for alms." Those monks, having heard from the Blessed One, said, "Venerable one, as you say," and then inquired how, said how to go, knew how to go together, and agreed to spend the summer retreat in the village of refuge near Vaisali. The Blessed One also, there in Radiant City, agreed to spend the summer retreat with the attendant, the venerable Ananda. Then, those five hundred monks thought to themselves: "The venerable ones know

Print it out! The Blessed One said this: Monks, now famine is terrible, it is difficult to obtain alms in secluded places, and parents also find it difficult to give food to their children. It is difficult to do things and think, let alone beggars. Monks, come here, speak as usual, come and go as usual, associate as usual, and go to a vast and dangerous place to avoid the noisy villages and settle down! I will also settle down in this bright village with the attendant monk Ananda. The Blessed One taught: If you are all tired of begging, that is not allowed. Here we have no relatives, and our relatives live in the fishing village. We will go to the fishing village to visit our relatives, and then build huts with leaves and branches near the fishing village, and we will definitely settle there. Then, five hundred monks went to the fishing village to visit their relatives, and then built huts with leaves and branches near the fishing village, and settled there. They thought: Please understand, those who have life! We are those who have heard little, and have very little Dharma. If our relatives come, we cannot preach the Dharma to the relatives who come. We say to the relatives who come: Relatives, in which village do you have a Sangha of monks who settle down like this? Those relatives have really gained a very good harvest. Because this monk has the perception of impermanence, the perception of suffering in impermanence, the perception of non-self in suffering, the perception of disgust with food, the perception of displeasure with all the world, the perception of fault, the perception of abandonment, the perception of detachment, the perception of extinction, the perception of death, the perception of impurity, the perception of blue-purple, the perception of pus, the perception of disintegration, and the perception of worm-eaten.
