མི་མགུ་བ་དག་འཁོད་པས་རྫས་ཐམས་ཅད་འཕྲོག་པར་བགྱིད་པས་ཤོ་གམ་དང་ལ་གཅན་དང་གྲུ་བཙས་ཀྱིས་ཡོངས་སུ་ཡི་ཆད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཞེས་མཆིའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟང་དག་གང་དག་ལ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་བཤེས་སུ་བདོག་པ་ཁྱེད་ཀྱང་སེམས་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ཅིང་འཁོད་དམ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཅི་ལགས། ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བདག་ཅག་གི་སླད་དུ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་བགྱིའམ། བཞིན་བཟང་དག་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ནི་གསོལ་བར་མི་བྱེད་དེ། འོན་ཀྱང་མཉན་ཡོད་ནི་ཀུན་ཤེས་པའི་ཤོ་གམ་ཅན་ཡིན་ལ། དེ་ལ་སྒོ་ནི་བཅོ་བརྒྱད། སྒེའུ་ཆུང་ནི་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་དྲུག་ཡོད་པས་ཁྱེད་ཅག་སྒེའུ་ཆུང་ནས་འཇུག་ཏུ་གཞུག་གིས། ལོངས་ཤིག་འདོང་ངོ་། །ཚོང་པ་དེ་དག་ཡོངས་སུ་མགུ་ནས་འཕགས་པ་དང་མཉན་ཡོད་དང་ཧ་ཅང་མི་རིང་བའི་རི་བྲགས་ཤིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ནས། དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟང་དག་རེ་ཞིག་ངལ་བསོས་ལ་མཉན་ཡོད་དུ་མཚན་མོ་འཇུག་པར་བྱས། རྔ་མོ་དང་གླང་དང་བོང་བུ་དག་ཐོང་ཞིག །ཚོང་བ་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་དག་བཏང་ནས། ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ཉི་མ་ནུབ་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེའི་ཚེ། དུས་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་རེ་ཞིག་ངལ་བསོ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །མཉན་ཡོད་ན་ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་གིས་བྱང་ལམ་ནས་དོན་མཐུན་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་འོངས་སོ་ཞེས་ཐོས་ནས། དེ་དག་གིས་གནོད་སྦྱིན་ལ་གཏོར་མ་བྱས་ཏེ་སྒོ་དག་མནན་ཏེ་སྡོད་དོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་མིག་ལམ་ཆད་ཀྱིས། ལོངས་ཤིག །འདོང་ངོ་། །ཡོངས་སུ་མི་ཤེས་པར་སྒེའུ་ཆུང་ནས་བདེ་བར་འཇུག་ཏུ་གཞུག་གོ་།དེ་དག་འཕགས་ཏེ་མཐར་གྱིས་བོང་བུ་དང་རྔ་མོ་དང་གླང་དག་འདེབས་ཤིང་སྒེའུ་ཆུང་ནས་མཉན་ཡོད་དུ་ཞུགས་ནས་མཚན་མོ་ནམ་ལངས་པ་དང་། སྲང་དུ་དོང་སྟེ་བྱང་ལམ་པའི་ཟོང་བཀྲམ་ནས་བཙོངས་པར་བརྩམས་སོ། །མི་ཞིག་དོན་མཐུན་དེ་ཉིད་དང་བྲལ་བ་སྒོ་ནས་ཞུགས་་པ་ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་གིས་མཐོང་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་ནང་རྗེ་ག་་ལས་འོངས། མི་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། རི་བྲགས་ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞིག་ནས་སོ། །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་ནང་རྗེ་རི་བྲགས་དེ་ན་བྱང་ལམ་པའི་དོན་མཐུན་འདུག་ཅེས་གྲགས་ན། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་དེ་མ་མཐོང་ངམ། མི་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་ཁོ་བོ་ནི་དོན་མཐུན་དེ་ཉིད་དང་བྲལ་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བ་ཡང་ཡིན་ཏེ། དེ་ནི་སྔར་སོང་ཟིན་ཏོ། །ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་གིས་ཐོས་ནས་ཡིད་མི་བདེ་བར་གྱུར་ཏེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྱེ་ནང་རྗེ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་སྒོ་གནོན་ཅིང་འཁོད་ན་དེ་ག་ལས་ཞུགས། མི་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་གལ་ཏེ་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཡིད་མི་ཆེས་ན་ཚུར་ཤོག་སྲང་དུ་འདོང་དང་རང་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་དག་དེ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་སྲང་དུ་དོང་བ་དང་དོན་མཐུན་དག་བྱང་ལམ་པའི་ཟོང་བཀྲམ་ཞིང་འཚོང་བ་མཐོང་ནས། དེ་དག་གིས་དྲིས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་ཁྱེད་ཅག་གང་གིས་ཞུགས། དོན་མཐུན་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། རྐང་པ་དག་གིས་སོ། །ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཇི་ལྟར་རྐང་པ་དག་གིས་ཞུགས་པར་ལྟ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་གིས་ཀྱང་ཤེས་ཀྱི། འདི་ལྟར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་གང་གིས་འཇུག་ཏུ་བཅུག་པ་དང་། སྒོ་གང་ནས་ཞུགས་པ་དེ་འདྲིས་སྨྲོས་ཤིག་དང་ཁྱེད་ཅག་དང་བཤེས་པར་བྱའོ། །དོན་མཐུན་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་སྒེའུ་ཆུང་ནས་འཇུག་ཏུ་བཅུག་གོ་།ཤོ་གམ་པ་དེ་དག་ཤཱཀྱའི་སྲས་ཀྱི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་རྣམས་ཀྱི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་གི་ཚུལ་ནི་ཚིག་པ་ཡིན་ནོ། །བྲམ་ཟེའི་ཚུལ་ནི་ཚིག་པ་ཡིན་ཏེ། གང་ལ་ད་ལྟར་གཞན་གྱི་འཚོ་བ་ལ་ཡང་གནོད་པར་བྱེད་དོ་ཞེས་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད། ཕྱར་ཀ་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད། ཁ་ཟེར་བར་བྱེད་པའི་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་གིས་གཞན་གྱི་འཚོ་བ་ལ་གནོད་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །གནོད་པར་བྱེད་ན་འགལ་ཚབས་ཅན་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་གིས་དྲུག་སྡེ་འདི་དག་ནི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་མི་སྲུན་པ་དག་ཡིན་པས་དོ་བྱའོ་སྙམ་དུ་བསམས་ནས། ཇི་ཙམ་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཉེ་དགའ་སྔ་དྲོ་ཤམ་ཐབས་བགོས། ལྷུང་བཟེད་དང་ཆོས་གོས་ཐོགས་ཏེ་མཉན་ཡོད་དུ་བསོད་སྙོམས་ལ་ཞུགས་པ། ཤོ་གམ་པ་ཞིག་གིས་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་ པ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། ལྷུང་བཟེད་ན་ཅུང་ཟད་མཆིས་སམ་གཟིགས། ཉེ་དགས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟང་ཅི་སེམས། ལྷུང་བཟེད་ན་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་དགོས་པའི་རྫས་མེད་དོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་སྡིག་པ་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །བདག་དེ་སྙམ་མི་སེམས་ཀྱི་འདི་ལྟར་བཅའ་བ་དང་བཟའ་བ་བསོད་པ་ཅུང་ཟད་མཆིས་ན། དེ་ཁྱོད་ལས་བསླངས་ཏེ་འཚལ་སྙམ་མོ། །ཉེ་དགས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟང་ཅི་ཆུ་ཀླུང་རྒྱུན་ལས་བཟློག་ཕྱོགས་སུ་འབབ་བམ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་བོ་ལ་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱ་བ་ཡིན་གྱི། ཁོ་བོས་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱ་བ་མ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་བཞད་གད་བགྱིའོ། །ཚུར་སྤྱོན་ཁྱིམ་དུ་བཞུད་དོ། །ཤོ་གམ་པ་དེས་ཉེ་དགའ་ཁྱིམ་དུ་ཁྲིད་ནས་བཅའ་བ་དང་བཟའ་བ་བསོད་པས་ལྷུང་བཟེད་བཀང་སྟེ་བྱིན་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་བདག་ལ་བཀའ་སྩོལ་ཅིག་དང་། བཀའ་བཞིན་བགྱིད་ཅིང་། འཕགས་པས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་བསྒྲུབ་པར་བགྱིའོ། ཉེ་དགས་བཞིན་བཟང་ཁྱོད་ནད་མེད་པར

Those who are displeased reside, plundering all possessions, and will be completely disheartened by blockades, ambushes, and the destruction of ships. Thus it is reported. The group of six monks said: "Virtuous ones, you are also aware of who our friends are, aren't you?" The noble ones asked: "What is it? Will you petition the king on our behalf?" The virtuous ones said: "We will not petition the king. However, Shravasti has a gatekeeper who knows everything. It has eighteen gates and thirty-six windows. We will have you enter through the windows. Come, let's go!" Those merchants were very pleased and went to a mountain not far from the noble ones and Shravasti. The group of six said: "Virtuous ones, rest for a while, and we will enter Shravasti at night. Release the mules, cattle, and donkeys!" Those merchants released them and thought, "When the sun sets, that will be the time," and rested for a while. The gatekeepers in Shravasti heard that a very wealthy caravan had come from the north, so they made offerings to the yakshas and guarded the gates. The group of six said: "Wise ones, avoid being seen. Come, let's go! Without anyone knowing, we will have you enter safely through the windows." They proudly drove the donkeys, mules, and cattle, entered Shravasti through the windows, and as soon as it dawned, they went to the streets, displayed the goods from the north, and began to sell them. A person who had become separated from the caravan entered through the gate and was seen by the gatekeepers, who asked: "Hey, sir, where did you come from?" The man said: "From such and such a mountain." They said: "Hey, sir, it is said that there is a caravan from the north at that mountain. Didn't you see it?" The man said: "Wise ones, I am the one who was separated from that caravan and came here. They have already gone ahead." The gatekeepers heard this and became very unhappy, saying: "Hey, sir, we are guarding the gates. How did they get in?" The man said: "Wise ones, if you don't believe me, come and see for yourselves in the streets."

The merchants said: It was the venerable Six Groups who let us in through the small window. Those gamblers said that the conduct of the renunciates, sons of the Shakya, is false. The conduct of the Brahmins is false, because they are now also harming the livelihoods of others, they will condemn, mock, and insult. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One taught: A monk should not harm the livelihoods of others. If he harms, he will commit a serious offense. Those gamblers thought, these Six Groups are untamed renunciates, we should pay attention to them. At some other time, the venerable Nanda, in the morning, put on his lower garment, took his bowl and robes, and entered Shravasti for alms. A gambler saw him and said: Venerable, I prostrate to you. Is there anything in the bowl? Please take a look. Nanda said: Good sir, what are you thinking? There is no item in the bowl that can be used to measure gambling tools. He said: Venerable, may sins be pacified. I am not thinking that way, if there is some food and drink here, I would like to beg from you. Nanda said: Good sir, will the river flow upstream? You are going to give to me, not me give to you. He said: Venerable, you are joking. Please come to my house. That gambler took Nanda to his house, filled his bowl with food and drink, and said: Venerable, please command me, and I will do as you command, I will accomplish everything that the Venerable commands.
