། ངག་གི་ལས་ཀྱང་མ་མཆིས་ན། ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་ཁྱོད་ལྟུང་བ་དང་བཅས་པར་འགྱུར། དགེ་སློང་དེ་འགྱོད་པ་སྐྱེས་ནས་མཐར་གྱིས་མཉན་ཡོད་དུ་ཕྱིར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ ལྡན་པ་འོངས་པ་ལེགས་སོ། །འོངས་པ་ལེགས་སོ། །ཇི་ལྟར་བདེ་བར་བརྒྱུས་སམ། དགེ་སློང་དེས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་བརྗོད་དོ། །དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དགེ་སློང་དེ་ལ་ནི་ལྟུང་བ་མེད་མོད་ཀྱི། འོན་ཀྱང་ངས་དགེ་སློང་ལམ་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྤྱད་པའི་ཆོས་དག་བཅའ་བར་བྱ་སྟེ། དགེ་སློང་ལམ་དུ་ཞུགས་པ་གྲོང་དུ་བསོད་སྙོམས་ལ་འཇུག་པས་སྣོད་ལ་མཚན་མ་བཏབ་སྟེ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱ་ཞིང་། ཕྱིར་འོངས་ནས་ཀྱང་སོ་སོར་བརྟག་པར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་ལམ་དུ་ཞུགས་པས་ཀུན་ཏུ་སྤྱད་པའི་ཆོས་ཇི་ལྟར་བཅས་པ་དག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཇུག་པར་མི་བྱེད་ན། འགལ་ཚབས་ཅན་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཉན་ཡོད་ན་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བ་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་དགེ་སློང་རྒན་པོ་ཞིག་དང་གཞོན་ནུ་ཞིག་ལྗོངས་རྒྱུར་འཕགས་སོ། །དེ་ན་རྒན་པོ་ནི་ཤེས་པ་ཆེ་བ། རྫས་མང་བ་ཡོ་བྱད་མང་བ་ཡིན་ལ། གཞོན་ནུ་ནི་ཤེས་པ་ཆུང་བ། ཆོས་གོས་གསུམ་ལ་འཆེལ་བ་ཡིན་པས་རྒན་པོ་ལ་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་དགོས་པའི་རྫས་ཡོད་ནས་ཇི་ཙམ་ན་མཐར་གྱིས་ཤོ་གམ་གྱི་གནས་ཀྱི་དྲུང་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། རྒན་པོས་བདག་ལ་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་དགོས་པའི་རྫས་ཡོད་པས་གལ་ཏེ་ཤོ་གམ་པ་དག་འཕགས་པ་ལ་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་འཚལ་བའི་རྫས་ཅུང་ཟད་མཆིས་སམ་ཞེས་འདྲི་ན་གལ་ཏེ་མེད་དོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་ན་ནི་བརྫུན་དུ་སྨྲ་བར་འགྱུར་ལ། གལ་ཏེ་ཡོད་དོ་ཞེས་བརྗོད་ན་ནི་ངེས་པར་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་དགོས་པར་འགྱུར་པས། དེའི་ཕྱིར་གང་གིས་ཤོ་གམ་ཡང་གཞལ་མི་དགོས་ལ་བརྫུན་དུ་སྨྲ་བར་ཡང་མི་འགྱུར་བའི་ཐབས་ཅི་ཡོད་སྙམ་དུ་ཤེས་ནས་དེ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། གཞོན་ནུ་འདི་ལ་སྦྱིན་ཞིང་ཤོ་གམ་གྱི་གནས་ནས་འདས་ན་བླང་བར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས། དེས་གཞོན་ནུ་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་རེ་ཞིག་ཡུད་ཙམ་ཞིག་ལྷུང་བཟེད་དང་ཆོས་གོས་ལོང་ཞིག །གཞོན་ནུ་དེས་གནས་བརྟན་ངལ་བར་གྱུར་པས་དེས་ན་བདག་ལ་སྦྱིན་གོར་མ་ཆག་སྙམ་དུ་ཤེས་ནས། དེས་ བླངས་ཤིང་དེས་དེ་ཁྱེར་ཏེ་མདུན་དུ་འཕགས་པ་དང་། ཤོ་གམ་པས་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་ལ་ཤོ་གམ་གཞལ་འཚལ་བའི་རྫས་ཅུང་ཟད་མཆིས་སམ

如果连语言的行为都没有，为何你会因此而犯堕罪？那位比丘生起后悔之心，最终返回舍卫城（Śrāvastī）。比丘们说道：具寿，欢迎您的到来！欢迎您的到来！您是如何安乐度过的？那位比丘将当时的情况告诉了比丘们。比丘们向世尊禀告，世尊开示道：比丘们，那位比丘并没有犯堕罪。然而，我应当为进入正道的比丘制定应当奉行的法。进入正道的比丘在城中乞食时，应当在钵上做记号后再去，回来后也要各自检查。进入正道的比丘如果不正确地接受并奉行所制定的应当奉行的法，就会犯重罪。佛陀世尊住在舍卫城（Śrāvastī）的祇陀林给孤独园。当时，一位年长的比丘和一位年轻的比丘一起游方。其中，年长的比丘知识渊博，财物和用具很多；而年轻的比丘知识浅薄，仅有三件法衣。年长的比丘因为有需要缴纳关税的财物，当他们最终到达关税所时，年长的比丘心想：我有关税需要缴纳，如果关税官问我：尊者，您是否有少量需要缴纳关税的财物？如果我说没有，那就是说谎；如果我说有，那就必须缴纳关税。因此，有什么办法既不用缴纳关税，也不用说谎呢？他心想：不如把这些东西送给这个年轻人，等过了关税所再拿回来。于是，他对那个年轻人说：具寿，请暂时拿一下我的钵和法衣。那个年轻人心想：这位长老一定是累了，所以才要送给我。于是，他接了过来，年长的比丘拿着东西走在前面。关税官看见后，问道：尊者，您是否有少量需要缴纳关税的财物？

If there is no action of speech, why would you incur a transgression? That monk, feeling remorse, eventually returned to Śrāvastī. The monks said: Venerable one, welcome! Welcome! How did you pass peacefully? That monk told the monks about the situation at that time. The monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Monks, that monk has not committed a transgression. However, I should establish the practices to be followed by a monk who has entered the path. A monk who has entered the path, when entering a town for alms, should go with a mark on his bowl, and should also examine each one upon returning. If a monk who has entered the path does not correctly accept and practice the established practices, he will incur a serious offense. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was residing in Śrāvastī, in the Jeta Grove, Anāthapiṇḍika's Park. At that time, an elderly monk and a young monk were traveling. The elderly monk was knowledgeable, with many possessions and belongings, while the young monk was less knowledgeable, possessing only three robes. Since the elderly monk had goods for which customs duties were required, when they eventually arrived at the customs post, the elderly monk thought: I have customs duties to pay. If the customs officer asks me, 'Venerable one, do you have any goods for which customs duties are required?' if I say no, then I would be lying; if I say yes, then I would have to pay customs duties. Therefore, what way is there to avoid paying customs duties and also avoid lying? He thought to himself: I should give these things to this young man, and take them back after passing the customs post. So, he said to the young man: Venerable one, please take my bowl and robes for a moment. The young man thought: This elder must be tired, so he must be giving them to me. So, he took them, and the elderly monk carried them ahead. The customs officer saw them and asked: Venerable one, do you have any goods for which customs duties are required?

那位比丘说道：没有好脸色。那个税关官放弃了那位比丘，离开了税关的地方，那位老者也空手跟随而来，那个税关官没有问那位老者。当那位老者离开税关的地方时，说道：具寿，把东西拿来。年轻人说道：尊者，什么事？忘记了吗？老者说道：具寿，我不是因为疲劳才给你的，而是因为我这里有需要缴纳税款的物品，如果我被税关官问到，尊者是否有少量需要缴纳税款的物品，如果我说没有，那就是说谎，如果我说有，那就必须缴纳税款，我产生了这样的想法，因此我才把钵和法衣给你，既然已经离开了税关的地方，所以我要拿回来。年轻人说道：如果是这样，尊者您自己解脱了，却让恶人陷入堕落。老者说道：具寿，你不明白，你有什么堕落？那位年轻的比丘生起后悔之心，最终返回舍卫城。比丘们说道：具寿，回来得好！回来得好！一路顺利吗？那位比丘说道：这里哪里顺利了？比丘们说道：具寿，为什么这么说？那位比丘把当时的情况告诉了比丘们。比丘们向世尊禀告，世尊开示道：比丘们，那位比丘没有堕落，但是，比丘在路上行走，未经询问 就拿取物品是不允许的，拿取时应该询问：这里是否有少量需要缴纳税款的物品？未经询问就拿取，会犯重罪。此外，比丘不应该在路上转移需要缴纳税款的物品。如果转移，会犯重罪。世尊开示说比丘不应该在路上转移需要缴纳税款的物品时，六十位比丘游历各地，走到山崖边

The monk said: "No good face." That tax collector abandoned that monk and left the tax office, and that old man also followed empty-handed, and that tax collector did not ask that old man. When that old man left the tax office, he said: "Venerable one, bring the things." The young man said: "Venerable, what is it? Have you forgotten?" The old man said: "Venerable one, I did not give it to you because I was tired, but because I have items that need to be taxed here. If I am asked by the tax collector, 'Venerable, do you have a small amount of items that need to be taxed?' If I say no, then I would be lying, and if I say yes, then I would have to pay the tax. I had such a thought, so I gave you the bowl and robe, but since I have left the tax office, I will take it back." The young man said: "If that is the case, Venerable, you have liberated yourself, but you have caused the wicked one to fall into depravity." The old man said: "Venerable one, you do not understand, what depravity do you have in this?" That young monk felt remorse and eventually returned to Shravasti. The monks said: "Venerable one, it is good that you have returned! It is good that you have returned! Did you have a smooth journey?" That monk said: "Where is there a smooth journey here?" The monks said: "Venerable one, why do you say that?" That monk told the monks about the situation at that time. The monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One taught: "Monks, that monk has not fallen, but it is not permissible for a monk to take things on the road without asking. When taking, one should ask: 'Is there a small amount of items that need to be taxed here?' Taking without asking will result in a serious offense. Furthermore, a monk should not transfer items that need to be taxed on the road. If one transfers, it will result in a serious offense." When the Blessed One taught that a monk should not transfer items that need to be taxed on the road, sixty monks were traveling around and came to a mountain cliff.
