His body was the color of gold, his head was like an umbrella, his arms were long, his body was broad, his eyebrows were curved, his nose was high, and he was born with all limbs and minor limbs. When he was born, thousands of good deeds occurred. They held a grand celebration for his birth and considered what to name the boy. The ministers said, "Because of the birth of this god, thousands of good deeds have occurred, so let the boy be named Good Deeds." Therefore, his name was named Good Deeds. The boy Good Deeds was entrusted to eight mothers: two mothers who nurtured him in their laps, two mothers who nursed him, two mothers who wiped away dirt, and two playmate mothers. These eight mothers nourished him with milk, yogurt, butter, the essence of ghee, and other major foods, raising him and quickly growing him like a lotus in a pond. The king also played with the queen, feeling happy and enjoying joy. As he played, felt happy, and enjoyed joy, the queen became pregnant. After eight or nine months, she gave birth to a boy. When he was born, thousands of bad deeds occurred, so his name was named Bad Deeds. He was also fed and raised, and he grew up. The young man Good Deeds had a nature of loving-kindness, was compassionate, full of love for all beings, desired to give, and liked to give, so he gave alms to monks, Brahmins, the poor, and impoverished beggars. His father said to him, "Son, you should not always give alms. If you always give like this, one day we father and son will not be able to find any wealth. This is the law of nature, many people will like the giver and the patron, and their fame, voice, poetry, and virtues will spread in all directions. A king from another country, hearing of his great qualities, will offer his daughter." The king greeted him with great glory. Good Deeds said:

For the time being, I should not follow you until the wealth is obtained. This is because the father has allowed entry into the great ocean. He said: So be it. When he took the goods and set out for the great ocean, his brother, the evildoer, thought: This person gathers many people and is pleasing. If the ship returns from the great ocean, he will gather even more people and become even more pleasing, then while the father is still alive, he will have power over the kingdom. This situation exists. Is it time to come here now? I should also enter the great ocean with him, and there take his life. In this way, even if I am unwilling, I will be appointed as regent again. Thinking this, he went to his father and said: God, if the doer of good goes to the great ocean, I will also go with him. He said: So be it. Then, the doer of good had it proclaimed in his own country: Listen, you wise merchants who live in the city! The young doer of good will take goods and enter the great ocean. Those of you who are willing to enter the great ocean with the captain, the doer of good, will not have quarrels, fights, or ship damage. Prepare the goods to go to the great ocean! Hundreds of merchants prepared the goods to go to the great ocean. Then, the captain, the doer of good, together with his brother, the evildoer, did auspicious and prosperous things, surrounded by hundreds of merchants. They took many goods to enter the great ocean with carts, burdens, boxes, planks, drums, oxen, donkeys, etc., and gradually visited towns, cities, villages, the king's palace, and commercial centers, and then arrived at the seashore. He bought a ship for five hundred karapanas, and led five people who lived on milk porridge, who were responsible for strengthening the ship, steering, rowing, and raising the sails. He proclaimed three times, then entered the great ocean and left the ship, saying to his brother, the evildoer: If the great ocean's

When the ship is about to sink, quickly hold on to my neck. He said: Okay, I'll do that. Soon, the ship sailed to the Treasure Island with favorable winds, and when the sails were raised, (the captain) said: Wise merchants of Jambudvipa, listen! The place called Treasure Island is a source of various treasures such as vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ།, Sanskrit: वज्र, Roman transliteration: vajra, Chinese: diamond), vaiḍūrya (བཻཌཱུ་, Sanskrit: वैडूर्य, Roman transliteration: vaiḍūrya, Chinese: lapis lazuli), indranīla (ཨིནྡྲ་ནཱི་ལ, Sanskrit: इन्द्रनील, Roman transliteration: indranīla, Chinese: sapphire), and agate. Whoever has heard of this news, go there! Take whatever treasures you want! Then, they happily selected and filled the ship with treasures, just like filling it with sesame, rice, mustard, beans, and so on. The Bodhisattvas were very careful and wise, so the young virtuous one tied the great jewels suitable for great people around his waist. Soon, when the ship was returning, it was destroyed by aquatic creatures in an improper way not far from the shore. Then, the evildoer grabbed the virtuous one's neck, and he pulled him ashore with great effort. He fell asleep from exhaustion, and the evildoer saw the jewels tied around his waist and thought: If he leaves with these jewels, my hands will be empty, so he robbed all the jewels while he was fast asleep, and also gouged out his eyes with thorns, threw him on the seashore, and left. Coincidentally, a group of shepherds were grazing their livestock and went to that place. They saw him and asked: Hey, sir, who are you? How did you become like this? He told them in detail. They heard it and felt compassion, and they took him to the house of the shepherd chief. There, he began to play the lute, and the wife of the shepherd chief, who was arrogant and complacent with her beauty and youth, heard the sound of the lute and (began) searching (for the source of the sound). She recalled her previous licentious behavior, covered her ears and sat down, unable to bear it. Those who are attached to desire can do anything, so she said to her family:
