He said, "How do you prove that you are that young virtuous one?" He also began to pray for truth, with truth and truthful words, when the wicked one gouged out my eyes, I had no malice towards that person. With truth and truthful words, may my other eye also return to its former state." After doing so, praying for truth caused his other eye to also return to its former state. Then, that young king took that virtuous one who was not disabled, and went to the king and said, "Father, that virtuous one is this person." The king did not believe it, and asked him how it happened, and the king was very surprised, and then he gave his daughter to him with great glory and wealth, and with a large army went to that city, drove the wicked one from the throne, and placed the virtuous one on his father's throne. Monks, what do you think? At that time, the virtuous one of that time was me. At that time, the wicked one of that time was Devadatta, even then, he was ungrateful and unappreciative. Even now, he is ungrateful and unappreciative. Furthermore, listen to how he is ungrateful and unappreciative. Monks, in the past, in a king's palace, a king was rich, prosperous, happy, had a good harvest, and was filled with people and many populations, and he was allowed to rule the kingdom. He played with the queen, rejoiced, and enjoyed himself, he played, rejoiced, and enjoyed himself, and gradually gave birth to four sons, namely branch, sprout, conforming sprout, and earth. They were raised and grew up and became strong, and took wives from the daughters of kings of other countries. They began to despise the king, and then the king expelled them, and they each took their own wives and left, and when they went to a desolate road, their road provisions ran out, and they made internal rules with each other, killing one wife and using her meat to cross the desolate road.

So it was said. Saga thought: Rather than taking the life of another, it is better to sacrifice my own life. Now is the time! So he thought, it is better to take my wife and flee. He took his wife and fled, but his wife, separated from food and exhausted from the journey, became dazed and said: The prince's life will be lost. Saga thought: I rescued her from the demons, but if she dies now, that would be great. So he cut off flesh from his thigh and gave it to her to eat, and cut the veins of his hands and gave her the blood to drink. He took her and gradually went to the foot of a mountain, where they lived on roots and fruits. At the foot of that mountain, there was a river flowing, and a man had his hands and feet cut off by enemies and was thrown into the river. As he was carried away by the river, he uttered a cry of anguish. Saga was digging for roots and fruits in another direction when he heard the man's cry for help. His mind was filled with compassion, so he climbed the mountain and began to look around. When he saw the man being carried away by the river, he quickly descended the mountain, jumped into the river, picked up the man, placed him on the bank of the river, and said, his heart aching with his suffering: Child, what happened to you? The man told everything that had happened, and then he drove away his fatigue, satisfied him with roots and fruits, and then handed him over to his wife. His wife took care of him and he recovered. As his wife took care of him, driven by lust, she went to him again and again, saying all sorts of things. This is the nature of Dharma. Bodhisattvas are naturally small in desire, so Saga sometimes enjoys pleasure with her, and sometimes he does not. Due to the power of the Bodhisattva, the trees, roots, and fruits became even more powerful, and after he enjoyed them, his afflictions increased, and he began to seduce the man with crippled hands and feet, but he did not succeed, so he said: I was once like dead, and now it is a fluke that I am alive. If something like this happens again, your husband will take my life completely.
