The land has been plowed, and the cultivated fields will surely be abandoned. Thinking of hundreds and thousands of such misfortunes, she went to the secluded place and entered it. Unwillingly looking around, she did not see the two children. From then on, she was confused and her heart trembled. She pondered along the foundation of the secluded place. 'Here, the dark-skinned youth and his sister always play with the deer fawn. This is the house made of mud by those two children. These are the toys of those two children. If those two are not here, if it has collapsed, and I didn't see it, perhaps they have entered the leaf hut to sleep and watch.' In this way, hoping to see the children in her heart, she put the roots and fruits aside, her eyes filled with tears, and leaning on the two pillars of the house, she said: 'Prince's son and daughter, where are those two children?' All-Savior said: 'A Brahmin came to me, truly coming with hope. I gave those two children to him. Rejoice with him.' Having said this, the offering mother deer fell to the ground as if struck by a poisoned arrow, rolling around like a fish taken out of the water. Like a crane losing its young, she pitifully cried, 'Pity, pity.' Like a calf dying, she made various sounds, saying: 'A face like a young lotus, arms like the stem of a lotus, young and fleshy. My two children have not experienced suffering, where have they gone to suffer? Straight like a deer fawn, with the eyes of a deer, happy in the secluded place with the deer, how are my two children today? Controlled by others, suffering. Eyes filled with tears, burned by compassion, extremely painful. Today I did not see them well, living painfully among the poor. Those two children I raised from my bosom, their food is roots, flowers, and fruits. Because of patience and abiding, the Guru is always happy, my two children are very painful. Those two children are separated from their mother and relatives, because of roots and stems, they have abandoned flattery, and having met evil sinners, my two children are very painful.'

Alas! When I am constantly tormented by thirst and hunger, By whose power are these two driven to go? Having become slaves, they have no food to eat, These two are exhausted, completely seized by suffering. Surely, in other lifetimes, I have committed the evil deed of uttering hundreds of divisive words among sentient beings, Here, I have committed an extremely unbearable sin, Therefore, I wail like one who has lost a calf. By what truthful words, am I always Equal in mind towards all sentient beings? By that truthful word, may my two sons, Be liberated from being slaves! Then, the almsgiver mother saw that the trees nurtured and protected by the young Buspa boys were lush with leaves, and with love in her heart, she embraced them and said: Buspa watered them with small balls of water, Water droplets dripped from the leaves, The trees are as if they have consciousness, Like Buspa feeding them with milk. Again, seeing the two young Buspa boys and the deer cubs playing in their habitat, she was displeased and spoke slowly with words of compassion: Who desires to see its new moon? Marking the location and searching, These wandering deer cubs, Are also another not small suffering of mine. Then, the almsgiver mother followed the path from which the Buspa boys had left, and seeing that the footprints of the two Buspa boys were not straight but crooked, she was even more tormented by suffering and said: How are these dragging footprints, And sometimes walking quickly, Undoubtedly being whipped and driven. Alas! Merciless Brahmin! The neck is swollen with panting, and the voice is hoarse, The beautiful lips tremble, my son, Looking like a deer is not out of hatred. For the benefit of all sentient beings, He gave up the son who was difficult to give up, Extremely difficult to give up himself and, After giving up his son and wife, The great hero, in accordance with the Dharma, Attained supreme enlightenment. The almsgiver, relying on giving, gave up what was difficult to give, The two Buspa boys were given up for the sake of liberation of the world, One should also give up oneself, wife, children, and wealth, I have the wisdom to give up everything to everyone. Then, the almsgiver mother strengthened her mind, Bodhi
