Having done this, the king said, "Who is wise and without afflictions, enter the palace." After he entered, King Śuddhodana offered him with preceding respect and offerings, and after offering with gifts and presents, he laid out a seat for him to sit. King Śuddhodana made him very happy with friendly talk, and then said, "Great ascetic, what need brings you here?" He said, "Great king, we have come here, wanting to see your son. Wanting to see the lord of the world, the guide, the sage. The king said, "If that is so, then wait a moment until the young one has not awakened from sleep." He said, "I want to see the god asleep. Let it be so." He saw that the Bodhisattva was not closing his eyes, but was looking at various forms, and then he said in verse: "Well-bred horses sleep like a quarter of the night. For those who have needs and seek goals, sleep does not stay long in the eyes." Then, at the moment the Bodhisattva was born, the mother took him in her arms and gave him to the ascetic. The ascetic without afflictions took him with both hands, and after observing for a moment, said, "Has the divine youth been shown to the soothsayers and the Brahmins who interpret signs?" The king said, "He has been shown." How did they prophesy? From "He will become a universal monarch" to "His sound will become widely known in the world," and so on, as before. Then, the ascetic without afflictions, having seen the Bodhisattva, said in verse: "The thinkers of the earth are confused in their minds, a universal monarch will not appear in times of strife. This treasure of the supreme Dharma of merit will completely triumph over misdeeds and become a Buddha. If he possesses unclear signs, he will become a king of men, a powerful lord of the four continents. Because the signs of the Sage are very clear, the best of men will become a Buddha, turning the wheel of Dharma." Having said this, he began to examine the end of his own life, and the Bodhisattva's manifest enlightenment. The Bodhisattva, at the age of twenty-nine, will leave the household and practice austerities for six years, after which he will obtain nectar, he saw it thus.

Then, seeing that he was about to die, with eyes full of tears, King Śuddhodana, seeing this, spoke in verses with hatred: What do men and women see that they will not be depressed, but will gain joy? Seeing the one with a good body and virtuous deeds here, why has the great sage changed his face? What is my young man afraid of? Or is his life about to end, and he will not live long? Please tell me the truth quickly, your tears make me tremble. The sage without afflictions also spoke in verses: Even if a vajra thunderbolt were to fall from the sky upon him, not a single hair on the body of the great capable one would be shaken. A great fire driven by the force of the wind, sharp weapons that are extremely unpleasant, violent poisons, and the sharp poison of snakes, if they were to fall upon the young man, they would be destroyed in an instant. You who abide in compassion, please grant fearlessness to those threatened by fear. He is the destroyer of all fears in the world, how could this lord of men have fear? In the world, for the leader of the great ones, the great self-nature, even the gods including Brahma constantly protect him, how could this lord of men have fear? Seeing my decline, O lord of men, why do I not obtain peace, I am so miserable. Having encountered this supreme treasure of Dharma, if I were to die without attaining its meaning, those incomparable speakers of good, hearing this Dharma, and having heard it, those who go to the other shore of extreme peace, they are happy, blessed, and free from epidemics. The sage without afflictions, being thought of by the afflicted one: The power of the Bodhisattva has diminished my magical powers, if I were to walk on foot, I would be ridiculed by the great assembly and the king. The mountain dweller said: O god, why have you not had the thought for so long that the sage without afflictions could enter Kapilavastu on foot alone? I will enter Kapilavastu on foot, and now I will come out on foot alone, please show the way and sweep the city.

O! King Śuddhodana instructed the ministers: "Wise ones, from now on, have the city swept and the roads cleared, and at the main roads, marketplaces, crossroads, and intersections, announce that the Ascetic Free from Defilements will depart from the foundation of Kapilavastu. Each of you do whatever you need to do!" The ministers, hearing the king's command as if it were a divine decree, cleared the foundation of Kapilavastu, removing stones, tiles, and pebbles, and sprinkled it with sandalwood water. They placed incense burners emitting intense fragrance nearby, hung many silk streamers, and raised banners and flags, and had announcements made at the main roads, marketplaces, crossroads, and intersections: "Wise Śākyas of Kapilavastu, listen! The Ascetic Free from Defilements will depart from the foundation of Kapilavastu. Each of you do whatever you need to do!" Then, driven by defiled thoughts and evil deeds, King Śuddhodana, surrounded by a retinue of ministers, and many Brahmins and householders residing in Kapilavastu followed behind, proceeding with great wealth from the center of the city to its center, arriving at the gate of Kapilavastu. The king turned back and proceeded in a manner that pleased him, gradually reaching the foot of Mount Kun-dzin. They ascended it, wandered around, found a place they liked, and sat down in one spot. Then, weary from the journey, they rested, began to meditate, and also manifested miraculous powers. After some time, the Ascetic Free from Defilements was afflicted by illness, and although he was treated with medicines from roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, he was still unable to recover. Then, Mey Jin examined the condition of his body and said: "Khenpo, all of us who have renounced are for the sake of amrita, and for the sake of seeking amrita. If you, Khenpo, realize amrita, please share some of that amrita with us!" He said: "Son of a Brahmin, I too have renounced for the sake of amrita, and for amrita
