However, please grant me a piece of land! Wise ones, it is acceptable. Those great sages can fulfill their wishes and desires, so he took a golden water pot and drew the shape of a city with the flow of water, and they built the city. The sage Kashyapa completely gave away the land for their residence, so it became known as Kashyapa's Land, Kashyapa's Land. They multiplied there and became a great crowd, but because it was narrow, they could not develop fully. The minds of the gods knew their minds and pointed out another direction, and they went there and built another city, which became known as God-Shown Land, God-Shown Land. Then they gathered together and began to discuss with each other: Wise ones, the reason we were expelled is because we did not take wives from our own kin. Therefore, let none of us take wives from our own kin; one wife should be enough. They only take one wife from one's own kin, and do not take a second wife from one's own kin. Then, at another time, King Holy-Born of the Sugarcane Clan remembered those beloved sons and said to the ministers: Hey, villagers, where are those young men now? They said to the king: Because of some fault of the gods, they were expelled, and each of them took their own sisters and left here, and established a residence near the snowy mountains, where there is the auspicious river and chariots, not too far from the abode of the sage Kashyapa, abandoning their own sisters and playing, rejoicing, and enjoying themselves with the sisters who have no mothers. They play, rejoice, and enjoy themselves, and boys and girls are born. Villagers, do the young men dare to do that? Yes, the gods are witnesses. Then King Holy-Born of the Sugarcane Clan straightened his empty body, stretched out his right hand, and said especially, said especially: Alas, the young men are truly daring! Alas, the young men are extremely daring!—Thus spoke the great sentient being.

The Blessed One, fully aware of the words of the great Maudgalyayana's son, arose and sat down. Having sat down, he addressed the venerable great Maudgalyayana's son, saying: Maudgalyayana's son, well done! Well done! Maudgalyayana's son, it is good that you have spoken the Dharma to the monks, starting from the lineage of the Shakyas. Maudgalyayana's son, you should always speak the Dharma starting from the lineage of the Shakyas. This will be for their long-term benefit, advantage, and happiness. Then, the Blessed One addressed the monks, saying: Monks, you should hear, hold, and recite the Dharma starting from the lineage of the Shakyas. Why is that? Monks, the Dharma starting from the lineage of the Shakyas is meaningful and in accordance with the Dharma, even up to the Brahmacharya. Monks, a son of good family who has gone forth with faith should hear and read the Dharma starting from the lineage of the Shakyas. Then, the Shakyas of Kapilavastu were delighted and rejoiced at the words spoken by the Blessed One. They bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One and departed from the presence of the Blessed One. At that time, in the city of Kapilavastu, a king named Lion's Jaw began to rule the kingdom, making it prosperous, flourishing, peaceful, and fertile, filled with people and many inhabitants, without fighting, quarreling, debating, or conflicts, without thieves, and with diseases completely pacified. Rice, sugarcane, cattle, and buffaloes were abundant, and he ruled the kingdom like caring for an only son. In the city of Devadaha, a king named Well-Awakened began to rule the kingdom, making it prosperous, flourishing, peaceful, and fertile, filled with people and many inhabitants, without fighting, quarreling, debating, or conflicts, without thieves, and with diseases completely pacified. Rice, sugarcane, cattle, and buffaloes were abundant, and he ruled the kingdom like caring for an only son.
