When the king commanded and they prepared to depart, a great multitude of people from the palace who rejoiced for them, departed with them, and after seven days, the gate of the city Dockyard was opened, and the multitude of people poured in. The ministers said to the king: O deity, if the city gate is not closed, before long, the Dockyard will become empty. If that is the case, then close the gate. Then, those youths, each taking their own sister, eventually went to a place near the snowy mountains, on the bank of the Ganges River, not too far from the hermitage of the sage Kapila. There, they made huts of leaves, settled down, hunted wild animals for a living, and went to the hermitage of the sage Kapila three times a day. Being seized by the pride of youth and adolescence, they were greatly troubled by desire, and became pale and emaciated. After some time, the sage Kapila saw them like this and asked: Why have you become pale and emaciated? They said: Great sage, we are greatly troubled by the desire for pleasure. He said: Abandon your respective sisters, and live with the sisters who have no mother. Great sage, is it permissible for us to do such a thing? Wise ones, it is permissible for those who have lost their royal lineage and kingdom in this way. Then, they thought that the sage's words were not false, and because they were troubled by the desire for pleasure, they felt joy and satisfaction, and played, rejoiced, and indulged with the sisters who had no mother. When they played, rejoiced, and indulged with those, sons and daughters were born, and when they grew up, the thorn of meditation was sound, so the sage Kapila could not keep his mind focused, and he said: Wise ones, I have seen enough, I am going elsewhere. Great sage, why? The thorn of meditation is sound, so I cannot keep my mind focused. Great sage, please stay here, we will go elsewhere.
