To anyone who is similar to a son, grant a transfer from the future lineage. If someone is expelled from the community for not being seen, and that person has committed a Sanghavasesa offense and has not concealed it, and the Sangha has expelled him for not being seen and he has already been reinstated, and he has not concealed that offense and has told the monks, and the monks have told the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks, you should give that person, and anyone else who is similar to him, a six-night delight. Because there is no difference, knowing that it is two, with mindfulness it is two, and with doubt it is also two. Just as there are eight cases of expulsion for not being seen, there are eight cases of expulsion for not repeating the offense, and there are also eight cases of expulsion for not abandoning the view of the wicked. Summary: Twelve beginnings, And all nine black ones, And made into pairs of nine, And ten words and the fifth. Furthermore, if another person commits a Sanghavasesa offense, has immeasurable faults, and conceals them, and he knows the beginning of those offenses but does not know the end of the days, then the monks report to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks, you should say to that person, and to anyone else who is similar to him, 'Those offenses are immeasurable,' and then give a transfer with a pure end. Furthermore, if another person commits a Sanghavasesa offense, has immeasurable faults, and conceals them, and he knows the end of the days of those offenses but does not know the beginning of the offenses, then the monks report to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks, you should say to that person, and to anyone else who is similar to him, 'Those offenses are immeasurable,' and then give a transfer as you know. Furthermore, if another person commits a Sanghavasesa offense, has immeasurable faults, and conceals them, and he does not know the beginning of those offenses, nor does he know the end of the days, then the monks report to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Monks,

Monks, you should say to that person, and to anyone else similar to him, that those transgressions are limitless, and grant a transfer with a pure ending. Furthermore, if another person conceals a Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense that is limitless, and he knows the beginning of those offenses, and also knows the end, then the monks petitioned the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Monks, you should say to that person, and to anyone else similar to him, that those transgressions are limitless, and grant a transfer according to how they were concealed. Just as there are four kinds of knowledge, so too are there four kinds of mindfulness and four kinds of mental engagement. Furthermore, if another person conceals a Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense, the Saṃgha should properly impose a non-dharmic, confused action upon him and grant a transfer. While he is undergoing the transfer, he conceals another Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense similar to the previous intermediate offense, the Saṃgha should properly impose a non-dharmic, confused action upon him and grant a transfer from the root. While he is undergoing the transfer from the root, he repeatedly conceals a Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense similar to the intermediate offense, the Saṃgha should properly impose a non-dharmic, confused action upon him and grant restoration from the root and also give pleasure in a non-dharmic way. If he is expelled in a non-dharmic way, then this person is called completely dark, impure, unrestored, and not completely liberated from those offenses. Furthermore, if another person conceals a Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense, the Saṃgha should not properly impose a non-confused, dharmic action upon him and grant a transfer. While he is undergoing the transfer, he conceals another Saṃghāvaśeṣa offense similar to the previous intermediate offense, the Saṃgha should properly impose a non-dharmic, confused action upon him and grant a transfer from the root.
