做。 那些水中生出的东西是这些:乌 উৎপala(藏文:ཨུཏྤ་ལའི་རྩ་བ་,梵文天城体:utpala,梵文罗马拟音:utpala,汉语字面意思:乌 উৎপala)的根,莲花的根,睡莲的种子,莲花的种子。

So be it. These are the things that grow from water: the root of the উৎপala (Tibetan: ཨུཏྤ་ལའི་རྩ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: utpala, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: utpala, literal Chinese meaning: উৎপala), the root of the lotus, the seed of the kumuda, and the seed of the lotus. The setting is in Shravasti. The venerable Shariputra was unwell, his blood and bile were imbalanced. The venerable great Maudgalyayana, wishing to attend to him, thought: I have often attended to the venerable Shariputra with my own wisdom, but I have never asked a doctor. I should ask the doctor. So he asked the doctor: Wise one, if the venerable Shariputra's blood and bile are imbalanced, what medicine should be given? The doctor said: Noble one, please give him lotus root milk, and he will recover. The venerable great Maudgalyayana thought: If I were to attend to the venerable Shariputra with ordinary lotus root milk, that would not be my style. Thinking thus, how could he calm his mind? He disappeared from Shravasti and went to the bank of the river called 'Slow Flow'. He entered into such a samadhi, that he was near the abode of the dragon king Rabbrtan. Then the dragon king Rabbrtan saw him and said: Noble one, for what purpose have you come? He said: The venerable Shariputra's blood and bile are imbalanced, and the doctor has prescribed lotus root milk for him. The dragon king Rabbrtan said: Noble one, if that is so, please wait a moment. He entered into the Slow Flow, took out lotus roots about the size of a man, poured the lotus root milk into a bowl made of lotus petals, and filled the venerable great Maudgalyayana's alms bowl. The venerable great Maudgalyayana began to watch the lotus roots depart, and then the dragon king Rabbrtan said: Noble one, what are you looking at? Do you wish to eat the lotus roots? He remained silent, and the dragon king said: Noble one, please go, and I will send them to you. Then the venerable great Maudgalyayana, carrying the alms bowl filled with lotus root milk, disappeared from the bank of the Slow Flow and went to the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta in Shravasti, the Anathapindika's Garden.

The venerable Shariputra, as instructed by the doctor, was cured after drinking lotus root juice. The Naga king Rabbrtan also, carrying the equipment of a black elephant and loaded with lotus roots, respectfully went to Prince Jeta's garden in Shravasti, placed them in front of the temple's corridor, and then left. With the speed of the wind, he arrived at the temple in Prince Jeta's garden in Shravasti, placed the lotus roots in front of the corridor, and then returned, meeting a ewe from the garden halfway. Another day, a lamb followed that ewe, and as it followed, it emitted a lion's roar. Then, the ewe, frightened, dropped a dung and abandoned the lamb, fleeing. Then, a carpenter living in Rajagriha went to the garden for wood and saw the lamb, took it home, and raised it. Because he nourished it with wealth, the name became known as Wealth Protector, Wealth Protector. Some say that King Light gave Wealth Protector as a gift to King Embodied Essence, therefore, the people living in Shravasti nourished it with wealth, so they called it Wealth Protector. Some lotus roots were eaten by the venerable Great Maudgalyayana, some by the venerable Shariputra, and some were distributed to the Sangha, but there was still some left over. Then, the monks renounced them, and even if they wanted to eat, they said we have renounced them, and did not eat. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One taught: Monks, it is difficult for people to obtain heavenly lotus roots, therefore it is allowed to eat them. One should think that lotus roots are difficult to obtain, and then eat them, and do not regret it. The origin of the story is in Shravasti. At that time, in the city of Good Deeds, there were six people who were known to have great merit: a householder named Sheep, Sheep's wife, Sheep's son, Sheep's daughter-in-law, Sheep's male servant, and Sheep's female servant. How is it known that the householder Sheep has great merit? If the storehouse
