所贯穿。 我看见鹿群时， 心中怀着恶毒， 用毒箭， 射杀了许多鹿。 我的手中拿着弓和， 涂有毒药的箭。 我看见一位独觉佛，在树的， 树荫下安坐。 我看见那位苦行者后， 当时心中感到不安。 之后，我用箭， 射中了无害的能仁的身体。 在那之后，那位比丘， 带着箭伤的痛苦， 就在那棵树下， 无所依恋地圆寂了。 做了那残暴的业之后， 众生转生到地狱， 在那里数千年中， 我感受着痛苦的折磨。 之后，从地狱死去转生后， 去了畜生的出生地， 就在那山上的城堡里， 我转生成了鹿群。 总是恐惧而害怕， 被饥渴所逼迫， 瘦弱而极其痛苦， 我便在那里游荡。 在那城堡里，凶残的猎人， 极其残暴的人们， 用涂有毒药的利箭， 射中我的身体。 我倒下后，他们看见了， 我还活着并且还在动， 就用刀割断我四肢的肉， 然后带着那些肉离开了。 我为了肉， 就在那地方被杀害。 就这样五百世中， 造作了许多痛苦。 在那座山的表面上， 我看见了许多具有苦行、有力量、 有神通、光芒万丈的， 仙人。 我看见那些仙人后， 从此修习慈悲心， 对于贤善慈悲者， 一次又一次地观看。 对于那些具有苦行者， 我以恭敬之心生起信心， 凭借着那善根， 我获得了人身。 为了寻找食物的乞讨者， 我看见一位独觉佛后， 总是以恭敬心， 我迎请他来接受食物。 使那位尊者感到满足后， 当时我发愿道： 愿我与像这样的仙人， 能够一起同行。 取悦圆满正等觉， 我获得出家后， 恐惧而

Through which it is threaded. When I saw the deer, With a cruel mind held close, With arrows smeared with poison, I struck down many deer. In my hand were a bow and, Arrows smeared with poison. I saw a Pratyekabuddha, at the foot of a tree, Seated there. When I saw that ascetic, At that time, my mind became uneasy. Then, I struck with an arrow, The body of the harmless Sage. Thereafter, that monk, Possessed of the pain of the arrow's sting, At the foot of that very tree, Passed into nirvana without attachment. Having done that harsh deed, Sentient beings were born in hell, There, for thousands of years, I experienced the feeling of suffering. Then, having died and transmigrated from hell, Having gone to the birthplace of animals, In that very fortress of the mountain, I was born as deer. Always fearful and apprehensive, Afflicted by hunger and thirst, Thin and exceedingly miserable, I wandered there and there. In that fortress, cruel hunters, Extremely unbearable ones, With sharp arrows smeared with poison, Struck my body. When they saw me fallen, While I was still alive and moving, With weapons, the flesh of my limbs, They cut off and carried away. I, for the sake of meat, Was killed in that very place. Thus, for five hundred lifetimes, I accumulated much suffering. On the face of that very mountain, I saw many ascetics, endowed with power, Great in magical abilities, with unbearable splendor, Sages. When I saw those sages, From then on, I cultivated a mind of loving-kindness, Towards the wise and loving, I gazed again and again. Towards those endowed with asceticism, I generated faith with a respectful mind, Through that root of virtue, I obtained a human existence. When a beggar seeking food, I saw a Pratyekabuddha, Always with respect, I invited him to receive food. Having satisfied that venerable one, At that time, I made the aspiration: May I, with sages such as these, Be able to go together. 无有怖畏者啊！愿安住于无漏之中！行持善业之故，天界极为欢喜。获得人身后，变得富有且财富增多。圆满正觉无与伦比之人，导师我已令其欢喜。我见释迦牟尼后，彻底出家。以信心彻底出家后，因喜好教法而安住。我获得阿罗汉后，已对六神通自在。如今即使众比丘，我已对一切自在，进入山洞之中，临近死亡之时，剧毒无比之蛇，落到我的身上。比丘我所犯之罪，所做之事记忆犹新，业不会白费，故而感受其果报。如是，住持近护于比丘僧众前，在玛卓巴大湖中，讲述了自己的业。近护品第二十八完毕。之后，比丘住持们对比丘贤护如是说道：贤护，近护已经讲述完自己的业之因由，贤护你也讲述自己的业之因由吧！之后，比丘释迦族之王贤护，彼时讲述了自己的业之因由：在极为恐怖之寂静处，发生饥荒之时，为了自己的食物而奔波，五百乞丐，成为他们所有人的首领，他们所有人都极为尊敬，他们所有人乞讨来的食物都供养给我。无论他们获得的是好是坏，都分给我。因为安住于我的话语中，所以他们不会轻蔑我。一人扛着一罐油，从集市中走出来，我从他那里强行抢夺，拿走后就离开了那里。之后我开始奔跑，他们没有追上来。砍断芦苇逃跑后，他们无法抓住。渡过河流后，我独自坐在一个地方，心想是否会有人来，四处张望。对于油……

O fearless one! May you dwell in the unpolluted! Because of performing virtuous deeds, the realm of the gods is exceedingly joyful. Having obtained a human existence, one becomes wealthy and abundant in riches. The perfect Buddha, an unparalleled being, the teacher, I have pleased. Having seen Shakyamuni, I have completely renounced the household life. Having completely renounced with faith, I have dwelt with joy in the teachings. Having attained Arhatship, I have mastered the six supernormal powers. Even now, though I am master of all, having entered a cave, when death is near, an extremely dreadful poisonous snake has fallen upon my body. The transgressions I, a monk, have committed, I remember vividly what I have done; karma is not wasted, therefore I experience its result. Thus, the Elder Nearsayer, in front of the monastic community of monks, in the great lake of Madrota, prophesied his own karma. The chapter of Nearsayer is the twenty-eighth. Then the monks, the Elders, said to the venerable Bhadraka: "Venerable Bhadraka, Venerable Nearsayer has finished prophesying the cause of his karma. Venerable Bhadraka, now you also prophesy the cause of your karma."
