以善妙庄严，布施了许多人，那时，每个比丘的头顶上，也都撑着伞。然后，那些以善妙庄严其身的女子，用旃檀和沉香涂抹身体，也让她们去侍奉每个比丘。那位国王以如此的方式，对随行者进行款待。正士之主引导着，国王使之满足。看到那张圆满的床榻，那时我心想：我虽有食物和住所，却没有这样的床榻。如此圆满之物，我哪里会有呢？天神之主自在者，百施来到我的面前。然后百施对我说：我做你的朋友。他便幻化出美丽悦意的天神花园。铺设好天神的坐垫，用天神的侍者们侍奉。然后，我将薄伽梵，能仁，世间所敬仰的，人中之胜者及其声闻眷属，迎请到伞盖之下。守护大地等大象们，以天神的装饰品善妙庄严，那时，每个比丘的头顶上，都撑着伞。然后，引导者以天神的食物供养。我对能仁及其声闻弟子们，用天神的衣服覆盖。做了那样的善业，便体验到许多安乐。由于行善，在天和人中变得美丽。九十一劫中，我不知道恶趣。毗婆尸（梵文：Vipaśyin，梵文罗马拟音：Vipaśyi，汉语字面意思：胜观）具光荣者，受到大正士的侍奉，我的最后一生，便出生在王舍城（今印度比哈尔邦巴特那附近）。在具形之心的城市中，在巨富之家，具形心国王那时对我进行款待。对大臣们和市民们，一切都可爱而悦意。我常常以天神的欲望，使自己在这个世间感到满足。即使转生为人，也体验到天神们悦意的欲望。然后，无上的导师，引导者的佛陀，大能仁以慈悲心，前往王舍城。具有大智慧的佛陀。

Adorned with goodness, many were given alms. At that time, an umbrella was also held over the head of each monk. Then, women with bodies well adorned, anointed with sandalwood and agarwood, were also allowed to attend to each monk. That king honored the followers in such a way. The chief of the righteous ones guided, and the king satisfied him. Seeing that perfect seat, I then thought: Although I have food and lodging, I do not have such a seat. Where would I have such perfection? The lord of the gods, the powerful one, Indra came to me. Then Indra said to me: I will be your friend. He then conjured up a beautiful and pleasing garden of the gods. Having prepared the seat of the gods, he served with the attendants of the gods. Then, I invited the Bhagavan, the All-Seeing, revered by the world, the supreme among men, along with his disciples, under the umbrella. The elephants, including the earth protectors, were well adorned with the ornaments of the gods, and at that time, umbrellas were held over the heads of each monk. Then, the guide offered the food of the gods. I covered the Able One and his disciples with the clothes of the gods. By doing that virtuous deed, I experienced much happiness. By doing good deeds, I became beautiful among gods and men. For ninety-one eons, I did not know the lower realms. Vipaśyin, the glorious one, was served by the great righteous one, and in my last birth, I was born in Rajagriha (near Patna, Bihar, India today). In the city of the embodied heart, in the house of a great wealthy man, King Rupahrdaya then entertained me. To the ministers and the citizens, everything was lovely and pleasing. I was always satisfied in this world with the desires of the gods. Even if reborn as a human, I experienced the pleasing desires of the gods. Then, the unsurpassed leader, the Buddha who guides, the Great Able One, with compassion, went to Rajagriha. The Buddha with great wisdom.
