་མ་རྒལ་བ་རྣམས་སྒྲོལ་བ་དང་མ་གྲོལ་བ་རྣམས་ དགྲོལ་བ་དང་དབུགས་མ་ཕྱིན་པ་རྣམས་དབུགས་འབྱིན་པ་དག ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་མ་འདས་པ་རྣམས་ཡོངས་སུ་མྱ་ངན་ལས་ཟླ་བའི་སངས་རྒྱས་སུ་འགྱུར་བར་བྱའོ། །དེ་ནས་དྲང་སྲོང་དེས་ཚིག་འདི་ཐོས་ནས་རི་བོང་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། གང་གི་ཚེ་ཁྱེད་སངས་རྒྱས་སུ་གྱུར་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་བདག་ལ་ཡང་དགོངས་ཤིག །རི་བོང་གིས་སྨྲས་པ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བགྱིའོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་ཇི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས། དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན་རི་བོང་དུ་གྱུར་པ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི་ང་ཉིད་དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན་རི་བོང་དེར་གྱུར་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་དེ་ན་ངས་བྱ་དཀའ་བ་བདག་ཉིད་ཡོངས་སུ་བཏང་བས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཐོབ་བོ་སྙམ་ན་དེ་ལྟར་མི་བལྟ་སྟེ། འོན་ཀྱང་ངའི་དེ་ནི་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་རྒྱུ་ཙམ་དང་རྐྱེན་ཙམ་དང་ཚོགས་ཙམ་ཡིན་ནོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་གཞན་ཡང་ངས་བླ་ན་མེད་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་དོན་དུ་གཉེར་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཕ་དང་མ་ལོང་བ་ཕྲག་པས་ཁྱེར་བ་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ཉོན་ཅིག །རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་སྔོན་བྱུང་བ་འདས་པའི་དུས་ན་བཱ་རཱ་ཎ་སཱིའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དུ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་སྦྱིན་ཞེས་བྱ་བརྒྱལ་སྲིད་བྱེད་དེ། འབྱོར་པ་དང་། རྒྱས་པ་དང་། བདེ་བ་དང་། ལོ་ལེགས་པ། སྐྱེ་བོ་དང་། མི་མང་པོས་གང་བ་འཐབ་པ་དང་། ཐབ་མོ་དང་། ཁྲག་ཁྲུག་དང་། འགྱེད་པ་དང་། ཆོམ་རྐུན་མེད་ཅིང་ནད་རབ་དུ་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་པ། འབྲས་དང་། བུ་རམ་ཤིང་དང་། བ་ལང་དང་། མ་ཧེ་ཕུན་སུམ་ཚོགས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆོས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཆོས་བཞིན་གྱིས་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བྱེད་དོ། །དེའི་མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱི་བྲམ་ཟེ་དེའི་བུ་ལྗང་གུ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་རིག་པའི་གནས་བཅྭ་བརྒྱད་ཀྱི་ཕ་རོལ་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ། དད་པ་བཟང་བ། དགེ་བའི་བསམ་པ་ཅན། བདག་ལ་ཕན་པ་དང་གཞན་ལ་ཕན་པར་ཞུགས་པ། སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན། ཕ་དང་མ་ལ་སྲི་ཞུ་བྱེད་པ་ཡོད་དེ་བུ་ནི་གཅིག་པུ་དེར་ཟད་ལ་ཕ་དང་མ་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་རྒས་ནས་མིག་ཉམས་ཏེ་མདོངས་ལ་ཐུག་པ་དང་། དེ་ནས་དེའི་ཕ་མས་རྒྱལ་ པོ་ཚངས་སྦྱིན་ལ་གསོལ་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་གཞོན་ནུ་ལྗང་གུ་འདི་མདུན་ན་འདོན་དུ་དབང་བསྐུར་དུ་གསོལ། བདག་ཅག་དཀའ་ཐུབ་ཀྱི་ནགས་སུ་མཆི་ལགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཚངས་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་ལྗང་གུ་ཁྱོད་མདུན་ན་འདོན་གྱིས་ཤིག་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བ་དག་མདུན་ན་འདོན་པ་མི་འཚལ་ཏེ། བདག་ནི་རྒས་པ། ཉམ་ཆུང

度脱未度脱者，解脱未解脱者，给予未断气者气息。令未完全脱离苦难者，成为完全脱离苦难的佛陀。之后，那位仙人听到这些话后对兔子说：当您成佛之时，也请您记着我。兔子说：我会那样做的。世尊开示说：大国王，您怎么想？那时那刻变成兔子的那个，就是我。那时那刻我变成了那只兔子。大国王，那时我认为我因为舍弃了难舍之物而获得了无上正等觉，不应那样看，然而那只是我获得无上正等觉的因、缘和合而已。大国王，还有，为了我追求无上正等觉，听我说说那个用肩膀扛着失明父母的人。大国王，过去世，在波罗奈斯城（Varanasi），有一位名叫梵施（Brahmadatta）的国王统治着国家。国家富饶、繁荣、安乐、丰收，充满人民和众多人口，没有争斗、争吵、流血、战争和盗贼，疾病也完全平息。稻米、甘蔗、牛和水牛都很富足，一位正法的国王，以正法治理国家。他的宫廷祭司的儿子名叫绿苗（Harita），精通十八明处，信仰良好，具有善良的思想，致力于自利利他，富有同情心，孝顺父母。他是唯一的儿子，而他的父母也年老体衰，视力衰退，濒临死亡。之后，他的父母向梵施国王请求道：大国王，请您授权年轻的绿苗担任祭司。我们想去苦行林。然后梵施国王对绿苗说：绿苗，你来担任祭司吧。他说：大国王，我不适合担任祭司，我年老体衰。

Liberating those who are not liberated, freeing those who are not freed, giving breath to those who have not breathed. May those who have not completely escaped suffering become Buddhas who have completely escaped suffering. Then, that ascetic, having heard these words, said to the rabbit: When you become a Buddha, please remember me as well. The rabbit said: I will do so. The Blessed One said: Great King, what do you think? The one who became a rabbit at that time, at that moment, was myself. At that time, at that moment, I became that rabbit. Great King, at that time, if I thought that I had attained unsurpassed perfect enlightenment by giving up what was difficult to give up, it should not be viewed that way. However, that was only the cause, condition, and combination for my attainment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Great King, furthermore, listen to the story of the one who carried his blind parents on his shoulders for the sake of my pursuit of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Great King, in the past, in the city of Varanasi, there was a king named Brahmadatta who ruled the kingdom. The country was prosperous, flourishing, peaceful, and had good harvests, filled with people and a large population, without strife, quarrels, bloodshed, war, or thieves, and diseases were completely pacified. Rice, sugarcane, cattle, and buffaloes were abundant, and a king of Dharma, endowed with Dharma, ruled the kingdom according to Dharma. The son of his court priest, named Harita, had mastered the eighteen branches of knowledge, had good faith, had virtuous thoughts, was engaged in benefiting himself and others, was compassionate, and served his parents. He was the only son, and his parents were old and frail, their eyesight failing, and they were near death. Then, his parents requested King Brahmadatta: Great King, please authorize the young Harita to be the priest. We wish to go to the hermitage for asceticism. Then King Brahmadatta said to Harita: Harita, you become the priest. He said: Great King, I am not fit to be the priest, I am old and frail.
