Great King, in the past, in a place filled with dense forests, hills, and many rivers, in a certain direction adorned with green grass, vines, sala trees, and bala trees, when the Bodhisattva was dwelling in an undetermined aggregate, he became a six-tusked elephant king. His wife, named the virtuous white elephant mother, who was the most excellent among all white elephant mothers, together with him, left the herd and happily roamed and dwelled in another place. After some time, another supremely captivating white elephant mother, unexpectedly, came before the six-tusked elephant king. Thereafter, because she also possessed the qualities of wisdom, the elephant king developed affection for her, following her wherever she went, and staying with her whether she sat or lay down, thus attending to her diligently. Then, the virtuous white elephant mother, unable to bear the fault of jealousy, began to seek faults in that white elephant mother, and also became very angry with the six-tusked elephant. When she could never find an opportunity in any situation, she began to make a perverse aspiration: "May I be born in a favorable place where I can kill this young and ignorant elephant." Having made such a perverse aspiration, she jumped off a cliff and killed herself, and was reborn in the sacred womb of the queen of the King of Bodily Radiance, and after nine months, she gave birth to a daughter, raised her, and she grew up. When she was of marriageable age, she was given to King Brahma-dana of the Kashi country, and he made her his queen. Because she had a grudge from a previous life, she had the guards search for the tracks of the six-tusked elephant. Then, she said to King Brahma-dana: "In a certain southern direction, there is a six-tusked elephant."

After saying that, he performed the ritual of Torma, put on his armor, held a poisoned arrow in his hand, drew his bow, and went to find the elephant. When he arrived at that place, he saw that the elephant had left the herd and was walking happily with his wife, sitting leisurely, and he said: In the moist land full of Utpala lotuses, the sacred elephant is like the flower of Kunda moon, and the flowers of Bayoma and Bamo colors, he saw that the elephant was like a pile of snow mountains walking. The six tusks of that king of elephants shone like moonlight. It's like a pile of white lotuses standing tall, the roots of the lotus are pure and beautiful, and can be relied upon. Then the hunter put on red clothes, hid his bow and arrow under his armpits, sneaked through the dense bushes, his steps were steady, and he slowly approached. Then, the mother elephant saw him from a distance and said to her husband: God, there is a person coming this way, or will he go somewhere else. She said: What kind of person is it? She said: It is a person wearing red clothes. The Bodhisattva said: If that's the case, if he's wearing red clothes, don't be afraid. Red clothes do not bring evil. Why? Because this is the sign of those who have compassion and love, and who have given up the joy of killing. Just as the moon only brings coolness, not heat, no fear will arise from this person, only peace will be obtained. Then the mother elephant and the Bodhisattva began to walk without fear. Then the hunter entered the bushes and shot it with a poisoned arrow.
