哦。他嬉戏玩乐，尽情享乐，却没有儿子，也没有女儿。于是他双手托腮，心想：我在家中积攒了这么多的财物，却没有儿子，也没有女儿。我死后，我的血脉就会断绝，国家也会衰败，所有的财产都会被其他国王夺走。他心中充满忧虑。这时，一些僧侣、婆罗门、朋友、亲友对他说：‘大人，您为何如此不悦？’他便将事情的来龙去脉详细地告诉了他们。他们说：‘大人，您应该向诸神祈祷，这样您就会有儿子了。’他因为没有儿子，又非常想要儿子，所以向息瓦神、水神、恶身神、财神等祈祷。他还向其他的神灵祈祷，比如：精舍的守护神、森林的守护神、四岔路口的守护神、三岔路口的守护神、接受朵玛的守护神、与生俱来的守护神、与法相应的守护神、以及总是跟随的守护神。世间有这样的说法：通过祈祷就能生儿子和女儿。但事实并非如此。如果真是那样的话，每个人都会像转轮王一样，拥有成千上万的儿子。然而，只有当三种条件都具备时，才能生儿子和女儿。这三种条件是什么呢？父母交合，母亲适时且有月经，以及乾闼婆（梵文：Gandharva）临近并想要进入。只有当这三种条件都具备时，才能生儿子和女儿。他如此热衷于祈祷，这时，一位贤劫的菩萨进入了那位高贵妃子的子宫。一些聪慧的女性天生具有五种不共之法。这五种是什么呢？知道男子交合，也知道不交合；知道时节，也知道月经；知道入胎，也知道从何处入胎；知道是男孩还是女孩。

Oh. He frolics and enjoys himself, indulging in pleasure, but he has no son, nor does he have a daughter. So he rests his chin on his hands, thinking: 'I have accumulated so much wealth in my house, but I have no son, nor do I have a daughter. After I die, my lineage will be cut off, the country will decline, and all the property will be seized by other kings.' His heart is filled with worry. At this time, some monks, Brahmins, friends, relatives say to him: 'Sir, why are you so unhappy?' He then tells them the whole story in detail. They say: 'Sir, you should pray to the gods, and then you will have a son.' Because he has no son and greatly desires one, he prays to Shiva, the water god, the evil-bodied god, the wealth god, and so on. He also prays to other kinds of gods, such as: the guardian deities of the monastery, the guardian deities of the forest, the guardian deities of the crossroads, the guardian deities of the three-way intersection, the guardian deities who receive tormas, the guardian deities born together, the guardian deities in accordance with the Dharma, and the guardian deities who always follow. There is such a saying in the world: through prayer, sons and daughters are born. But this is not the case. If it were so, everyone would have thousands upon thousands of sons, like a Chakravartin king. However, only when three conditions are met can sons and daughters be born. What are these three conditions? The father and mother unite in intercourse, the mother is in season and has her menstruation, and a Gandharva is near and wants to enter. Only when these three conditions are met can sons and daughters be born. As he is so devoted to prayer, a Bodhisattva of the Bhadrakalpa enters the womb of that noble consort. Some wise women are naturally endowed with five uncommon qualities. What are these five? Knowing when a man has intercourse, and also knowing when there is no intercourse; knowing the season, and also knowing menstruation; knowing when conception has occurred, and also knowing from where conception has occurred; knowing whether it is a boy or a girl.

如果是个男孩，就靠在右边腰上；如果是个女孩，就靠在左边腰上。她非常高兴，对丈夫说：‘王子的儿子，有情众生进入我身，就像现在这样靠在我的右边腰上，所以肯定会是个男孩，请您高兴吧！’他也非常高兴，挺直上身，伸出右手，这样说道：‘我长久以来一直渴望见到儿子的面容，希望他生来与我相像，而不与我不相像；希望他做我的事业；希望他赡养我；希望他享用我的财产；希望他能使我的家族长久延续；希望我们死后，无论何时，都能给予或多或少的布施，行持善业，并以我们的名义回向，愿他能去往我们所去之处，跟随我们！’就这样，他特意说出这些话，反复述说。为了使进入母胎的有情众生能够完全成熟，应该这样做：在楼阁的基座上，寒冷时提供寒冷的用具，温暖时提供温暖的用具。医生指示的食物，既不能太苦，也不能太酸，既不能太咸，也不能太甜，既不能太辣，也不能太涩。应该避免苦味、酸味、咸味、甜味、辣味和涩味，提供这些以外的食物。还要提供项链、手镯，以及装饰华丽的身体，就像天女在欢乐的园林中嬉戏一样。从床到床，从小床到小床，不要让身体落在地上。不要让她听到任何不悦耳的声音，要让她保持安静。当八个月或九个月过去后，就会生下一个相貌端庄、惹人喜爱、容光焕发、肤色如金、头如伞盖、手臂修长、额头宽阔、眉毛弯曲、鼻梁高挺、四肢齐全的男孩。当他出生时，敲响令人喜悦的鼓声，国王听到后问道：‘那是什么声音？’妃嫔们对国王说：‘请您高兴吧！您的儿子……’

He was also very happy, straightened his upper body, stretched out his right hand, and said: 'I have long desired to see the face of my son, hoping that he will be born like me, and not unlike me; hoping that he will do my work; hoping that he will support me; hoping that he will enjoy my property; hoping that he can make my family last long; hoping that after we die, whenever, we can give more or less alms, do good deeds, and dedicate them in our name, may he go where we go, and follow us!' In this way, he specially said these words, repeatedly saying them. In order to make the sentient beings who have entered the womb fully mature, it should be done like this: on the base of the pavilion, provide cold utensils when it is cold, and warm utensils when it is warm. The food indicated by the doctor should be neither too bitter nor too sour, neither too salty nor too sweet, neither too spicy nor too astringent. Bitter, sour, salty, sweet, spicy, and astringent tastes should be avoided, and food other than these should be provided. Also provide necklaces, bracelets, and a gorgeously decorated body, like a celestial maiden playing in a joyful garden. From bed to bed, from small bed to small bed, do not let the body fall to the ground. Do not let her hear any unpleasant sounds, keep her quiet. When eight or nine months have passed, a boy will be born who is handsome, lovely, radiant, with a golden complexion, a head like an umbrella, long arms, a wide forehead, curved eyebrows, a high nose, and complete limbs. When he was born, the king heard the joyful drums being beaten and asked, 'What is that sound?' The concubines said to the king, 'Please be happy! Your son...'
