The Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha did not speak to King Norlden, thus granting permission. Then, King Norlden, knowing that the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha had granted permission by not speaking, bowed his head to the feet of the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha, and then departed from the presence of the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha. Then, King Norlden, from that very night, prepared pure and virtuous food and drink, and the next morning rose early, laid out seats, placed jeweled water vessels, and then invited the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha, announcing the time: Venerable One, the feast is prepared, if it is possible, Blessed One, please consider that the time has come. Then, the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha, in the early morning, donned his lower robe, took his bowl and Dharma robe, surrounded by a gathering of monks, with the Sangha of monks leading the way, went to where King Norlden's residence was, and upon arriving, sat on the seat that had been prepared for the Sangha of monks. Then, King Norlden, seeing that the Fully Awakened Jewel Crest Buddha and the Sangha of monks were seated comfortably, personally served pure and virtuous food and drink from his own hands, satisfying them.
