The two verses were also proclaimed. One should initiate and arise. One should enter the Buddha's teachings. Like an elephant in a reed house, one should destroy the army of the Lord of Death. Whoever is extremely mindful, if one is diligent in this Dharma-Vinaya, having completely abandoned the cycle of birth, one will put an end to suffering. Then those rays of light pervaded all the realms of the three thousand great thousand worlds, following after the Blessed One, one after another. If the Blessed One wished to foretell past actions, they would set in the sky behind the Blessed One. If he wished to foretell the future, they would set in the front. If he wished to foretell birth in hell, they would set in the soles of his feet. If he wished to foretell birth as an animal, they would set in the heels of his feet. If he wished to foretell birth as a hungry ghost, they would set in the big toes of his feet. If he wished to foretell birth as a human, they would set in the knees of his feet. If he wished to foretell a wheel-turning king of strength, they would set in the palm of his left hand. If he wished to foretell a wheel-turning king, they would set in the palm of his right hand. If he wished to foretell the gods, they would set in the navel of his body. If he wished to foretell the enlightenment of a Hearer, they would set in his mouth. If he wished to foretell self-enlightenment, they would set in his brow. If he wished to foretell perfect and complete enlightenment, they would set in the crown of his head. Then those rays of light circumambulated the Blessed One three times and set in the soles of the Blessed One's feet. Then the venerable Ānanda, with his palms joined, asked the Blessed One: Adorned with a thousand colors, the hosts have arisen from within your face, just as an umbrella has risen, it illuminates all directions. He also spoke verses: The Buddha, free from negligence, without cowardice, and abandoning pride, is the supreme cause among beings, the Victorious One has no cause to overcome enemies, branches

Unlike me, they do not show a white smile. Therefore, with steadfast wisdom, know the time. Listeners, please listen, the King of Victors, Shakyamuni Buddha, is supreme. May the virtuous saints dispel the doubts that arise in the listeners, and the steadfast words. Like a mountain of salt water, the steadfast protector, the fully enlightened Buddhas do not smile without reason. Why does the steadfast one show a smile? 8B Most people should listen to this. The Blessed One said: Ananda, it is so, it is so. Ananda, the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Enlightened Ones, do not smile without cause. Ananda, the son of the King of Medicine, Constant Knowledge, has declined and deteriorated. He called the lineage respected by many Tathagatas, whose conduct is without fault, the son of a servant. From today, within seven days, he will vomit hot blood and die. After his body is destroyed, he will be reborn in the hells of sentient beings. Monks, therefore, do not allow the son of Constant Knowledge or someone like the son of Constant Knowledge to be venerated. Also, do not cut hemorrhoids. However, the treatment of hemorrhoids should be done in two ways: with secret mantras and medicine. If a monk cuts hemorrhoids or allows the son of Constant Knowledge or someone like the son of Constant Knowledge to be venerated, he will commit a serious offense. That monk, just as the son of Constant Knowledge did, in the same way exceeded the time limit. Then, the ministers said to King Clear Victory: God, the son of Constant Knowledge even said to the Blessed One, "Son of a servant," and that monk, just as he did, in the same way exceeded the time limit. Then, the king was very angry and ordered the ministers: Wise ones, I have completely abandoned the son of the King of Medicine, Constant Knowledge, kill him now! The ministers said: God, why kill someone who is already going to die? The Blessed One has already prophesied that within seven days he will vomit hot blood and die, and after his body is destroyed, he will be reborn in the hells of sentient beings.
