Among them, the elder Gangpo, who resides in the place of Chumig, is the most excellent. Then, the Blessed One said to the Venerable Ananda: "Ananda, go and tell the monks, I have said that you, monks, should abide in not accumulating good deeds and not concealing sins." However, because heretics live in that city, whoever among you has attained supernatural powers should use those powers to go to the city of Sloma like that to beg for food!" Having said that, he closed the door. Having heard from the Blessed One, the Venerable Ananda said to the monks: "Venerable ones, the Blessed One said this, I have said that you, monks, should abide in not accumulating good deeds and not concealing sins." From 'I have said' to 'go and beg for food' is the same as before. The king had the stones, rubble, and broken tiles cleared from the city of Sloma, sprinkled with sandalwood water, set up various fragrant incense burners, hung many silk ribbons, and scattered various flowers, celebrating as if it were a festival. The city of Sloma had eighteen gates, and that king had seventeen sons, each of whom was stationed at a gate with great wealth and power. At the largest gate were the king, the owner of Sloma, with great wealth, the Venerable Gangpo, and those with wooden earrings, conch shell earrings, and lead earrings. At that time, leaves fell, incense fell, and utensils fell, all descending through supernatural powers. The king saw this and asked: "Has the Venerable Gangpo passed away?" The man replied: "These are leaves falling, incense falling, and utensils falling, not the Blessed One." At that time, many elder monks entered into meditation, descending in various forms, and the king asked again: "Has the Venerable Gangpo passed away?" The man replied: "No, these are elder monks entering into meditation, descending in various forms." Then, a lay devotee said in verse

It is said: Some ride lions, tigers, elephants, horses, dragons, and excellent noble steeds. Some rely on immeasurable jeweled mansions, beautiful mountains and forests, and blazing chariots. Others, like clouds adorned with garlands of lightning appearing from the sky, joyfully strive to go to places like divine palaces with miraculous powers. Some emerge from the ground, rising upwards. Some descend from the center of the sky. Some are conjured from cushions. Behold the power of those with miraculous abilities! Then, the Blessed One washed his feet outside the temple, entered the temple, and sat upon the prepared seat. He straightened his body and directed his mind towards manifest realization. Soon after, when the Blessed One placed his feet, accompanied by manifest engagement, in the fragrance chamber, the great earth shook in six ways. This great earth quaked, quaked intensely, quaked completely intensely. It trembled, trembled intensely, trembled completely intensely: when the east was high, the west was low; when the west was high, the east was low; when the south was high, the north was low; when the north was high, the south was low; when the edge was high, the center was low; when the center was high, the edge was low. The king asked the venerable Maudgalyayana, "Venerable Maudgalyayana, what is this?" He replied, "Because the Blessed One placed his feet, accompanied by manifest engagement, in the fragrance chamber, the earth shook in six ways." Then, the Blessed One emitted golden light like the color of molten gold, making the entire Jambudvipa appear like molten gold. Again, the king opened his eyes in amazement and asked, "Venerable Maudgalyayana, what is this?" He replied, "Great King, it is the Blessed One emitting light like the color of gold." Explaining the basis of medicine.
