The cowherds, the shepherds, the grass cutters, the wood cutters, those who live by the road, and those who live by getting lost, cut the dragon's meat into pieces and sell it. When they sold it, the noble ones also began to eat it. They said that the noble ones are also eating it, so they slaughtered and sold it even more. How long will my stove have to endure suffering! Alas, Blessed One, please have compassion and make some rules so that the noble ones do not eat dragon meat. After saying this, I did not say anything to the wife of the Champa dragon, and she agreed. Then, the wife of the Champa dragon knew that I had agreed without speaking, so she bowed her head to my feet and disappeared immediately. Now, the gods are also scolding, saying: The monks of the Shakya clan have fallen away from the good Dharma. They blame each other and curse each other, which is not good or reasonable. Therefore, monks should not eat dragon meat, eating it will be a serious offense. When the Blessed One was traveling in the country of Magadha, he came to Rajagriha (around the 6th century BC). He lived in the Bright Garden of Rajagriha, the residence of the Kalanda bird. King Bimbisara of Magadha heard that the Blessed One was traveling in the country of Magadha and was staying in the Bright Garden of Rajagriha, the residence of the Kalanda bird. After hearing this, he thought to himself: I have invited the Blessed One to offer meals many times, but many times I have not offered all the necessities for three months. This time I will offer all the necessities to the Blessed One for three months, and I will also offer the famous physician Jivaka. Then, the king, relying on his wealth and great power, went to where the Blessed One was, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, and sat aside. After sitting aside, the Blessed One used words in accordance with the Dharma to instruct King Bimbisara of Magadha, enabling him to understand correctly and to comprehend correctly.

He praised and rejoiced greatly. He correctly taught with various Dharma-related words, caused them to correctly understand, correctly praised, and correctly made them rejoice, and then he said nothing more. Then, King Bimbisara of Magadha rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with his palms joined together in the direction of the Blessed One, he said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, may the Blessed One allow me to provide alms, robes, bedding, medicine, and medical supplies, along with the physician king Jivaka, to the Sangha of monks for three months of the rainy season." The Blessed One remained silent to King Bimbisara of Magadha, thus granting his request. Then, King Bimbisara of Magadha, knowing that the Blessed One had granted his request by remaining silent, rose from his seat, bowed his head to the feet of the Blessed One, and departed. For three months, King Bimbisara of Magadha provided robes, alms, bedding, medicine, and all necessary supplies to the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks, and the physician king Jivaka attended to them. King Prasenajit of Kosala heard that King Bimbisara of Magadha had provided all necessities and the physician king Jivaka to the Blessed One and the Sangha of disciples. Having heard this, he thought to himself: "He is also a king, a Kshatriya, crowned from the head. I am also a king, a Kshatriya, crowned from the head. When the Blessed One goes to Shravasti, I will also provide all necessities and the physician king, the son of Nitya-jnana, to the Blessed One and the Sangha of disciples. He thought thus. After the three had passed, he was endowed with Dharma robes. Being endowed with Dharma robes, he carried his begging bowl and Dharma robes, and was completely surrounded by a gathering of monks. With the assembly of monks watching in front, he traveled to where Shravasti was. As he gradually traveled, he arrived in Shravasti, and stayed in Shravasti in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the garden of Anathapindika. King Pasenadi of Kosala heard that the Blessed One, while traveling in the land of Kosala, had arrived in Shravasti and was staying in Shravasti in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the garden of Anathapindika. Having heard this, he came from Shravasti and went to where the Blessed One was. Having arrived, he bowed to the two feet of the Blessed One with his head, and sat down to one side. As he sat to one side, the Blessed One taught King Pasenadi of Kosala with Dharma-related speech, causing him to truly understand, causing him to truly grasp, causing him to truly uplift, and causing him to truly rejoice. In many ways, with Dharma-related speech, he truly taught, caused him to truly grasp, truly uplifted, and truly caused him to rejoice, and then remained silent. Then King Pasenadi of Kosala rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and with his palms joined together, bowed towards where the Blessed One was. He said this to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, please allow me to provide the Sangha of monks together with robes, alms, bedding, medicine for sickness, and the necessities of medicine, and the son of Constant Knowledge, the king of doctors, to the poor for three months." The Blessed One remained silent to King Pasenadi of Kosala, thus granting his request.
