住在那里，还有另一位与他同住的人为僧团取水。过了一会儿，那位僧团的住持将水倒入碗中，用指尖触碰，感到非常寒冷，他心想：我们喝这么冷的水，堪布一定在地狱中喝沸腾的铜汁。于是，他开始观察大地狱，却什么也看不到。他又观察畜生、饿鬼、人和其他的地狱众生，也看不到。然后，他开始观察诸天，发现他已经转生到四大天王众天之中，成为天人，并在世尊面前证悟了真谛。他看到自己坐在诸天之中，先是微笑，然后对世尊生起了信心，说道：唉玛，佛陀！唉玛，正法！唉玛，僧团！唉玛，正法被善说！像这样作恶，堕入邪道的人也能获得如此功德之聚。他一再重复这些话。那位堪布看到他如此欢喜、满足和极度高兴，便说道：具寿，你是否因为堪布时机已到，我成为僧团的住持而欢喜、满足和极度高兴呢？他回答说：具寿，现在不是回答你问题的时候，在僧团中提问吧，在那里才是回答你问题的时候。过了一段时间，当比丘僧团聚集并安坐时，僧团的住持问那位堪布：具寿，你当时说了什么？他回答说：我对你说，你是否因为堪布时机已到，我成为僧团的住持而欢喜、满足和极度高兴呢？当时，他在僧团中详细地讲述了这件事，他也非常高兴，比丘们也说：唉玛，佛陀！唉玛，正法！唉玛，僧团！唉玛，正法被善说！像这样作恶，堕入邪道的人

Living there, another person living with him fetched water for the Sangha. After a while, that resident of the Sangha poured water into a bowl and touched it with his fingertips, feeling very cold. He thought: We are drinking such cold water, the Khenpo must be drinking boiling copper juice in the great hell of Avīci. So, he began to observe the great hell of Avīci, but he could not see anything. He also looked at animals, pretas, humans, and other hell beings, but he could not see them either. Then, he began to observe the gods, and he found that he had been born among the gods of the Four Great Kings, had become a god, and had realized the truth in the presence of the Bhagavan. Seeing himself sitting among the gods, he first smiled, and then developed faith in the Bhagavan, saying: Alas, Buddha! Alas, Dharma! Alas, Sangha! Alas, the Dharma is well spoken! Even those who do evil like this, who have fallen into wrong views, can obtain such a collection of virtues. He repeated these words again and again. The same Khenpo, seeing him so delighted, satisfied, and extremely happy, said: Venerable, are you delighted, satisfied, and extremely happy because the time has come for the Khenpo, and I have become the resident of the Sangha? He replied: Venerable, now is not the time to answer your question. Ask in the Sangha, and there will be the time to answer your question. After some time, when the Sangha of monks had gathered and were seated, the resident of the Sangha asked the same Khenpo: Venerable, what did you say at that time? He replied: I said to you, are you delighted, satisfied, and extremely happy because the time has come for the Khenpo, and I have become the resident of the Sangha? At that time, he told the story in detail in the Sangha, and he was also very happy, and the monks also said: Alas, Buddha! Alas, Dharma! Alas, Sangha! Alas, the Dharma is well spoken! Those who do evil like this, who have fallen into wrong views
