He became miserable because of the improper conduct. The mother nourished and raised that child with the power and skill of relatives, and then entrusted the child to the teacher. The child's peers had already learned the letters of the alphabet and began to read the treatises of externalists. He, however, was only learning the letters of the alphabet. His mother went to the teacher and said: Teacher, whatever this child's peers offer you, I will also offer you. This child's peers have already learned the letters of the alphabet and began to read the treatises of externalists, but this child is still learning the letters of the alphabet. The teacher said: There are two reasons why one can learn knowledge: one is having a sense of shame arising from oneself, and the other is having a sense of embarrassment arising from external sources. This child has neither a sense of shame nor a sense of embarrassment. Like this, you also have a fault, because when I beat him, you protect him. The mother said: Yes, yes. I have that fault, I protected him when you beat him. At another time, the teacher beat him, and he cried and ran to his mother. The mother said to him: Child, why are you crying? Mother, I was beaten by the teacher. The mother also beat him, and the child thought: Punishment has occurred in two places. Before, I was only beaten in one place, but now I have been beaten in two places. I cannot bear the harm in two places, so I will run away. So he went to Jeta Grove (Gion Shoja). There, a novice monk was picking flowers, and he saw him. The child said: Venerable, what do you hope for? Why did you become a renunciate? Why don't you become a renunciate? Venerable, who can make me a renunciate? The monk said: Come here, wanting to go to the Khenpo. So he took him and went to the Khenpo, saying: Please let this son of good family become a renunciate, please let him become a renunciate. The Khenpo let him become a renunciate. His mother went to the teacher and said: Where is that child? Today I beat him. The teacher also said: I also beat him.

Long ago. The scribe said, 'Go and search for him everywhere!' She went everywhere searching for her son, going to the ascetic groves and the places of the heretics, but no one had heard any news about him. She went to Shravasti and cried at the gate. At that time, that monk, having put on his robes in the early morning, carrying his bowl and Dharma robes, went to Shravasti for alms with the novice monks who followed him. She saw him and beat her chest, saying, 'Son, what places are there where I have not searched for you in the ascetic groves and the places of the heretics? But no one has heard any news about you. Why have you become a renunciate among the thieves of the Shakya clan? Come back!' She grabbed his hands and took him home. At that time, that long-lived one, having become a renunciate and fully ordained in the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya, became an obstacle to the possessions of the monks. The monks reported this matter to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought, 'Whatever fault has occurred is because the monks allowed someone to become a renunciate without reporting to the Sangha.' Then he said, 'Therefore, a monk should not allow someone to become a renunciate without reporting to the Sangha. If someone who wishes to become a renunciate comes to someone, that person should have him report to the Sangha. If one allows someone to become a renunciate without reporting to the Sangha, one will commit a serious offense.' The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in the Kalantaka Grove in the Radiant Garden in Rajagriha. In Rajagriha there lived a Brahmin who took a wife from the same caste and played, rejoiced, and enjoyed himself with her. They played, rejoiced, and enjoyed themselves, and later a son was born, who was raised and grew up. Later, he became ill, and all the doctors abandoned him. His mother said to him, 'Son, Jivaka Kumara is the supreme king of medicine, you should go to him!' He went to Jivaka and said, 'Jivaka, please heal me!' Jivaka said, 'Good man, you are difficult to heal, and someone like me'

I do not support anyone else, I support the Blessed One Buddha together with the Shravaka Sangha, and the king together with his queen and retinue. He went to his mother, and his mother said: Son, have you gone to the doctor? If I go to the doctor, he will say that you are difficult to cure. Like this, I do not support anyone else, I support the Blessed One Buddha together with the Shravaka Sangha, and the king together with his queen and retinue. Son, if that is the case, then renounce. Mother, I am of noble birth, how can I renounce among the various practitioners of the Shakya sons? He said: Son, will kusha grass grow on your head? Whatever happens, happens. He went to the Bright Garden, went to the monks and said: Holy ones, I wish to renounce. He let him renounce, and he sat groaning. He said: Why are you sitting groaning? Abbot, I want to dance. He said: Good man, have you become like this after renouncing? Abbot, I did not want to dance after renouncing, I renounced because I always wanted to dance. Why didn't you tell me earlier? He said: Abbot, did you ask me? He sat unhappily. The attendants who lived with him came and said: Abbot, why are you unhappy? Children, this noble son renounced while dancing, so I have placed the disease nearby. They said: Abbot, the Blessed One said that there are two kinds of great men: one who does not take on responsibilities that have not been taken on, and one who carries out responsibilities that have been taken on to the end. So please carry this through to the end. They were talking to each other and sitting, when the doctor also came to that side, and they said to him: Doctor, see what is the illness of this young man? He said: The dance is too heavy. In this way, the king has prepared all his equipment, and I will treat him, and if the holy ones can help him dance, he will recover soon.
