Not begging. Like this, begging for the sake of coins. Good-looking ones, we are renunciates, where do we have coins? He said: Holy one, what's going on? Was this novice born from your renunciation, or was he born from a householder? He said: From a householder. If so, then give me those savings. He said: This novice will ask for many things, come here, let's go. Saying this, he grabbed the holy one by the fingers, pushed him to the ground, and started beating him. These two were seen by a large crowd of ordinary people, and they said: Knowledgeable ones, whose novice is this? It's a son. They said: What should we do with these drops of blood? So they started cursing, blaming each other, and speaking harshly. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: What fault has occurred? This is because the monks are ordaining people who are not yet fifteen years old. So he ordered: Therefore, a monk should not ordain someone who is not yet fifteen years old. If someone wants to be ordained and comes to someone, that person should ask him if he is fifteen years old. If he ordains him without asking, he will commit a serious offense. Vinaya-vastu, Volume 7. Summary: Two novices and slaves, as well as debts, attachment, non-permission, requests, and the sick, the Shakya clan are all included. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Anathapindika's Garden. The novices of the Venerable Nanda, Thorn and Big One, were pushing and pulling each other, hitting each other's bodies, just like a woman and a man are together, and a man and a woman are together. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: What fault has occurred? This is because the monks are letting two novices live together. So he ordered: Therefore, a monk should not let two novices live together. If they live together, they will commit a serious offense.

Thus it is. The Blessed One taught that a Bhikshu should not allow two Shramaneras to be ordained together. Later, two brothers came, and they resolved, 'We two shall be ordained together.' The Bhikshus did not allow the two to be ordained, and the two were disappointed that they did not get the opportunity to be ordained. At this time, the venerable Bhikshus reported to the Blessed One the obstacles to these two becoming ordained and receiving full ordination as Bhikshus in the well-spoken Vinaya. The Blessed One taught, 'If two brothers come and resolve, 'We two shall be ordained together,' then let them be ordained. After ordination, if they are twenty years old, let them receive full ordination. If one is twenty years old, let him receive full ordination, and let the other remain as a Shramanera. If neither is twenty years old, let one remain on his own, and let the other be entrusted to some Bhikshu friends.' The Blessed One taught, 'Whoever he is entrusted to, let him give him full ordination.' If he does not give it, the Blessed One taught, 'Then take it by force.' The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Jeta's Grove, Anathapindika's monastery, in Shravasti. In Shravasti lived a householder who had a clever, diligent, capable servant who was always ahead of all urgent matters. Once, he scolded the servant, and the servant thought, 'This master is difficult to please, I cannot guard his mind, I might as well run away.' He thought, 'Leaving the country is difficult, I might as well be ordained among these Shakyaputra renunciates, because they have already obtained complete renunciation of youth from the king.' So he went to Jeta's Grove, went to a Bhikshu, and said, 'Venerable one, I wish to be ordained.' That Bhikshu ordained him and gave him full ordination, gave him instructions, and he practiced diligently.

Through diligence, effort, and exertion, having abandoned all afflictions, he manifested the state of an Arhat. The Arhat, detached from desire in the three realms, regarding clods and gold as equal, possessing a mind like the sky and the palm of the hand, considering sandalwood and excrement as the same, having broken through the shell of ignorance with wisdom, having attained wisdom, supernormal knowledge, and individual perfect knowledge, turning his back on existence, the gains of desire, and respect, being worthy of worship, remembrance, and open praise by the gods with power and attendants. That householder felt remorse and thought, 'He is the forerunner of all my immediate affairs, why did I revile him?' He thought, 'If I see him now, I will ask for forgiveness.' So he sat at the gate of Shravasti. That monk also, in the early morning, having put on his lower robe, and carrying his bowl and monastic robes, entered Shravasti for alms. When the householder saw him, he said, 'Fair-faced one, if you have become a renunciate, who will attend to my needs? Come back!' Saying this, he stretched out his hand and began to seize his two hands. Then, like the king of geese spreading his wings, he rose manifestly into the sky above and began to perform miracles of blazing, shining, raining, and emitting lightning. Since ordinary people quickly fix their minds on miracles, the householder, like a tree cut from its roots, knelt at the feet of the monk and said, 'Noble one, have you attained such a collection of qualities?' 'Yes, I have attained it.' He offered him all kinds of provisions. Everywhere the sound spread that the slave of such and such a householder, having become a renunciate, had attained such a collection of qualities. King Prasenajit of Kosala, having heard that the slave of such and such a householder, having become a renunciate, had attained such a collection of qualities, instructed his ministers, 'Wise ones, since I, as king, am the master of all enthronement affairs in the Kshatriya lineage, from now on, if anyone wishes to become a renunciate as a slave, they shall not be prevented.'
