Made into seven small pieces of cloth, sew them into two and a half pieces of cloth. If there are no obstacles, wash it. Stretch it. Sew it. Combine it. Sew the lining. Hem it. Turn it over. Or sew this together as a patch. Do it according to the circumstances, this Dharma garment is suitable for use. Repeat this two or three times. The Khenpo says this is the method. The disciple says good. After that, holding the lower skirt fabric of the Dharma garment, say this: Khenpo, please listen. I, named so-and-so, bless this Dharma garment as a lower skirt. If needed, make it into five small pieces of cloth, sew it into one and a half pieces of cloth. This is the blessing of three uncut and unsewn Dharma garments. After that, show his alms bowl. Show it like this: A monk places the alms bowl in his left hand, covers it with his right hand, and starting from the side of the elder, stands in front of each monk, and with respect, says this: Venerable or long-lived one, please listen. Long-lived one, named so-and-so, is this alms bowl not small? Not big? Not old? If all the monks think that the alms bowl is not like that, then each one should say that the alms bowl is good. If they say that, that is good. If they do not say it, they will commit a serious offense. This is showing the alms bowl. After that, the Khenpo himself blesses that alms bowl. Bless it like this: Stand up, place the alms bowl in the left hand, cover it with the right hand, and then say this: Khenpo, please listen. I, named so-and-so, this alms bowl is suitable for holding food, it is the vessel of the upright.

Bless this begging bowl. Repeat this two or three times. The preceptor should say, "It is a means." The disciple should say, "Good." This is the blessing of the begging bowl. After that, the one to be fully ordained should be moved from the danger of hearing to the danger of seeing, made to join his palms, and placed facing the assembly. After that, the monk who performs the karma should ask the monk who is the secret teacher, "Has the preceptor named so-and-so requested so-and-so to be the secret teacher?" The one who is the secret teacher should say, "I am named so-and-so." After that, the monk who performs the karma should say to the monk who is the secret teacher, "So-and-so, do you allow the preceptor named so-and-so to request you to be the secret teacher of so-and-so?" He should also say, "I allow." This is allowing the secret teacher. After that, the monk who performs the karma should perform the karma of requesting only for the secret teacher to ask about obstacles. This should be done as follows: "Let it be said, 'Stay'." "Venerable Sangha, please listen. This monk named so-and-so is requested by the preceptor named so-and-so to be the secret teacher of so-and-so. If it is the time of the Sangha and it is permissible, may the Sangha allow this monk named so-and-so to be requested by the preceptor named so-and-so to be the secret teacher of so-and-so. This is the request." This is the karma of requesting the secret teacher. After that, the monk who is the secret teacher should go outside the mandala and make the one to be fully ordained prostrate to him, make him squat in front, make him join his palms, and say, "O fortunate one, listen, this is your time of truth, this is the time to come. I will ask you a few small questions. Do not be afraid, and if it is, say it is, and if it is not, answer that it is not. Are you a man?" He should say, "I am a man." A man
