Having uncurled it, make three knots, and tie it to the left arm of those praised by all actions, reciting: oṃ buddha maitri rakṣa sarvvānā svāhā. (Tibetan: ོཾ་བུདྡྷ་མཻ་ཏྲི་རཀྵ་སརྦྦཱ་ན་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ buddha maitri rakṣa sarvvānā svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Buddha, Maitreya, Protect, All, Svaha.) And protect them, causing joy to arise, which is: In the world, all-knowing ones, sometimes appear or do not appear, like the udumbara flower, appearing occasionally in a hundred paths. Whoever can act for the sake of sentient beings' unparalleled meaning, without entering nirvana, the emergence of the practice of secret mantras is even rarer than that. In countless hundreds of thousands of kalpas, whatever sins were previously committed, by seeing such a mandala, all of them will be exhausted. If one abides in the practice of the infinitely famous mantra, what need is there to say more? If one recites the secret mantra of protection, one will attain the unsurpassed state. For those whose supreme conduct, whose wisdom is extremely stainless, all their suffering, and the evil destinies that arise, will be purified. Great beings, you have obtained an unparalleled attainment today. Whoever causes you all victors, great beings and their sons, to fully uphold this doctrine, to abide and arise, they will cause you to be well-born in the Great Vehicle. This supreme path of the Great Vehicle's vast arising is glorious. Whoever causes you to go, will become a Tathagata. After hearing this, then with the mantra of all actions, protect them well, and for the sake of recitation, explain the mantra of all actions, and say, "Tomorrow morning, tell me your dreams." Thus, the ordinary mandala is separated by a curtain, or it can be in another place outside, and let them sleep in the lion's sleeping posture. This is the method of establishing the disciple. Then, for the sake of establishing the disciple, the teacher manifests and offers the mandala of deities arranged for that purpose, and for the sake of the wisdom thread and so on, raises and arranges it in the sky, facing east, possessing the yoga of the lord of the mandala, carried by an uncorrupted young maiden, or purchased at the price of a hero, or obtained from a cemetery, with mustard powder with a good fragrance, with the five elixirs.

The white, yellow, red, green, and black colors of the thread cords, each alternating, with seed syllables such as bhrūṃ (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུཾ, Devanagari: भ्रूं, Romanized Sanskrit: bhrūṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), āṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ, Devanagari: आं, Romanized Sanskrit: āṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), jrāṃ (Tibetan: ཛྲཱཾ, Devanagari: ज्रां, Romanized Sanskrit: jrāṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), khaṃ (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Devanagari: खं, Romanized Sanskrit: khaṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Devanagari: हूं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable), arrange the nature of Vairocana, etc., in the palm of the left hand, starting from the fingertips to the base of the fingers. Visualize the five Tathagatas residing in the sky, gathering the Tathagatas of their respective directions, and in their hearts, visualize the wisdom thread formed from the buṃ (Tibetan: བུཾ, Devanagari: वुं, Romanized Sanskrit: vuṃ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable) syllable, etc., having the nature of light. Recite "oṃ āḥ śāśvata vajra sūtre me prayaccha mahāmaṇḍala sūtraṃ ṇāya hūṃ (Tibetan: ོཾ་ཨཱཿ་ཤཱ་ཤྭ་ཏ་བཛྲ་སཱུ་ཏྲེ་མེ་པྲ་ཡཙྪ་མ་ཧཱ་མཎྜལ་སཱུ་ཏྲཾ་ཎཱ་ཡ་ཧཱུཾ།)", and with this, pray to Vairocana, etc., with their respective names included. Then, the moon and sun eyes appearing yellow, born from the jaḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿ, Devanagari: जः, Romanized Sanskrit: jaḥ, Literal Meaning: seed syllable) syllable, reciting "oṃ dīpta dṛṣṭā dakuśi jaḥ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་དཱི་པྟ་དྲྀཥྚཱ་དཀུ་ཤི་ཛཿ)", with the eyes that attract with the eyelashes of rapidly moving eyes, in the posture of an iron hook, hook and summon the dispatched Vairocana, etc., and merge them into the thread residing in the hand. Therefore, their mirror and the nature of the five wisdoms, because each is connected to the four wisdoms, are divided into twenty-five. After that, the karma vajra holder of the nature of Khandaroha, together with the thread holder, rolls five threads each into single threads, and then similarly rolls these five threads into one thread, reciting "oṃ anyonyānugatāḥ sarva dharmāḥ para sparānupraviṣṭāḥ sarva dharmāḥ adyantānupraviṣṭāḥ sarva dharma oṃ āḥ hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨ་ནྱོ་ནྱཱ་ནུ་ག་ཏཱཿསརྦ་དྷརྨཱཿ་པར་ སྤ་རཱ་ནུ་པྲ་བིཥྜཱཿ་སརྦ་དྷ་རྨཱཿ་ཨ་དྱནྟཱ་ནུ་པྲ་བིཥྜཱཿ་སརྦ་དྷ་རྨ་ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ།)", and wind it. The winding method is to insert the four fingers of the left hand of the teacher and the disciple into the middle, come out from the back, come out from the back again, connect these to the ground behind the index finger of the vajra fist, discard the remainder of the three ends, make it twice as long as the mandala, the thickness is one-twentieth of the door, divide it into twenty-five of the nature of the five wisdoms, soak it in fragrant water and the five elixirs and five products of the cow, put it into the three syllables, and apply fragrance, and put it into a vessel of gold, etc.
