།གཟུངས་འདི་ནི་འདས་པའི་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་གང་ །གཞན་ཡང་སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ན་མུན་པ་མུན་ནག་གི་གནས་སུ་ངན་འགྲོ་གསུམ་པོའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཇི་སྙེད་གནས་པ །གཞན་ཡང་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་སའི་བར་ དུ་ཡང་ཕྱིན་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཕྱིར་མཚན་སུམ་ཅུ་རྩ་གཉིས་དང་།དཔེ་བྱད་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་ཡང་རང་གི་ངང་གིས་འཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །གལ་ཏེ་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་གང་ཟག་གང་དག་གཟུངས་འདི་རྣ་བར་ལན་ཅིག་ཐོས་པར་གྱུར་ཏམ། གཟུངས་འདི་སྤྱོད་ཅིང་ཡི་གེར་བྲིས་སམ། དྲང་པོའི་ སེམས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་བཞིན་དུ་གནས་པར་བྱེད་ན།དགེ་སྦྱོང་གི་འབྲས་བུ་བཞི་པོ་དག་མ་བཙལ་བར་རང་གི་ངང་གིས་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་ན་རི་དང་། ཆུ་ཀླུང་དང་། བྲག་དང་། རྒྱ་མཚོ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞིའི་ཆུ་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་དག་ ཀྱང་གཡོ་ཞིང་འཁོལ་བར་ནུས་སོ།།རི་རབ་ལྷུན་པོ་ནས་རི་ཁོར་ཡུག་གི་བར་དག་ཀྱང་གཡོ་ཞིང་རྡུལ་ཕྲན་བཞིན་དུ་འཇིག་པར་ནུས་སོ། །དེ་ན་གནས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་ཇི་སྙེད་པ་དག་ཀྱང་ཐམས་ཅད་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་པར་ནུས་སོ། །སེམས་ཅན་གང་དག་ཚེ་ འདི་ཉིད་ལ་སྨོན་པ་རྣམས་མངོན་པར་འགྲུབ་པར་འདོད་ན་ཞག་ཉི་ཤུ་རྩ་གཅིག་གི་བར་དུ་གསོ་སྦྱོང་དང་།ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་ལ་གནས་ནས་གཟུངས་འདི་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བྱས་ན་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་སྨོན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་མངོན་པར་འགྲུབ་པར་འགྱུར། འཁོར་བའི་མཐའ་ནས་འཁོར་བའི་ མཐར་ཐུག་པའི་བར་དུའང་སྡིག་པའི་ལས་ཐམས་ཅད་མ་ལུས་པར་ཡོངས་སུ་འབྱང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ།།སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་འདིའི་ནང་དང་ཕྱི་རོལ་ན་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་། Transformation. The Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara, the Lord of Power, again, for the sake of those who recite and uphold this dhāraṇī, in order to eliminate harm and obstacles, spoke these very cooling verses. Whoever goes to the mountains and nomadic monasteries, even if they encounter tigers, jackals, fierce wild animals, centipedes, snakes, and demons, if they hear the recitation of this dhāraṇī, they will not be able to cause harm. Whoever enters rivers and oceans, even if they encounter fierce nāgas, cruel crocodiles, yakshas, rakshasas, fish, and turtles, if they hear this dhāraṇī, they will scatter separately. Whoever is surrounded by enemies on the battlefield, or when robbers cruelly plunder wealth, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, they will generate loving-kindness and retreat. Whoever is involved in a king's case, or when bound by iron chains and imprisoned in jail, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, the king will release them with loving-kindness. Whoever is cursed, with poisoned arrows entering their home, or when killed by poisoned food and drink, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, the poison itself will become nectar, and the poisoned food and drink will become food. When a pregnant woman is giving birth, and is obstructed by demons, suffering unbearable pain, if she single-mindedly recites the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, the demons and ghosts will flee, and she will give birth peacefully. When fierce nāga demons exhale poisonous breath, and are threatened by feverish diseases and near death, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, they can eliminate epidemics and prolong their life. When nāga demons are tormented by karma, causing swelling, or when unbearable sores grow, oozing pus and blood, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, applying saliva three times will subside the swelling. When sentient beings generate non-virtue through delusion, and are harmed by curses, mantras, and enemies, if they single-mindedly recite the Great Compassion Dhāraṇī, all those curses and harms will return to the one who cast the spell. It can extinguish the mind of evil and inverted thoughts. If I were to extensively describe the power of this Dharani, even if I spoke for hundreds of kalpas, I would still not be able to exhaust it. Recite this mantra five times, tie twenty-four knots on a five-colored thread, and then wear it around the neck. This Dharani was spoken by the Tathagatas of the past, as many as the grains of sand in ninety-nine kotis of the Ganges River. Those Tathagatas spoke it in order to enable those yogis who have not yet fully accomplished the six paramitas to fully accomplish them, to enable those who have not yet generated the mind of Bodhi to quickly generate it, to enable those who have not yet attained the fruits of the Hearers to quickly attain them, in the three thousand great thousand worlds, to enable those sages who have not yet generated the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi to quickly generate it, and to enable those beings who have not yet obtained the power of faith in this Mahayana to increase the seeds of the Mahayana and the sprouts of the Dharma through the power of the blessings of this Dharani. I, with skillful means, love, and compassion, make all their wishes fulfilled. Furthermore, in the three thousand great thousand worlds, if the beings of the three evil realms who dwell in places of darkness and obscurity hear my mantra, they will all be freed from suffering. Bodhisattvas who have not yet attained the first Bhumi will quickly attain it, and even those who have not yet attained the tenth Bhumi will attain it. Moreover, in order to enable them to ultimately reach the state of Buddhahood, the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks will also be naturally obtained. If a practitioner of the Hearer vehicle once hears this Dharani, or practices and writes it, or abides by the Dharma with an upright mind, then the four fruits of the Shramana will be naturally obtained without seeking them.
