Completely showing the Buddha to all humans, Also completely showing the Dharma, without hiding, By showing the Buddha's image and stupas, Therefore, the light that is good to see is accomplished. The light that overwhelms the light of the gods, The light called "Illuminating" radiates, Eliminating all dust and darkness, Illuminating everything with the light that benefits the world. Any beings who are inspired by that light, They hold lamps to offer to the Buddhas. They hold lamps to offer to the Buddhas, Will become Buddhas who illuminate the world. Ghee lamps, oil lamps, butter lamps, Grass, reeds, lamps of light, Incense, essence, jewel lamps, Having offered to the Buddhas, they obtain illumination. Radiating the light called "Liberation," Any beings who are inspired by that light, They, in order to liberate beings from the vast ocean of samsara, Don armor. Anyone who, in order to liberate beings from the vast ocean of samsara, Wears armor, They will liberate from the four rivers, Show the city of bliss without sorrow. Having built many platforms and bridges, And boats that liberate on river roads, By refuting conditioned phenomena and praising peace, Therefore, it is liberation.

Ponds, rivers, springs, wells, and lakes, all strive for the sake of enlightenment, denigrating desire and praising meditation, thus, the quenching of craving is accomplished. Radiating abundant light that brings joy, any sentient being motivated by this light, increases joy, and for the sake of supreme enlightenment, generates the mind to become self-born. Sculpting compassionate Buddha images adorned with various beautiful names, seated on lotus thrones, and constantly reciting the qualities of the Buddha, thus, the light that brings joy is accomplished. Radiating abundant light that brings contentment, any sentient being motivated by this light, is always delighted and content with the Buddha, delighted and content with the Dharma, and delighted and content with the Sangha. They are always delighted and content with the Buddha, delighted and content with the Dharma, and delighted and content with the Sangha, constantly accompanied by the Buddha, Dharma, and noble assembly, obtaining unsurpassed patience. Radiating abundant light endowed with wisdom, any sentient being motivated by this light, instantly comprehends numerous Dharma doors from a single Dharma door, instilling the classification of the Dharma into the minds of sentient beings, clearly distinguishing the understanding of meaning, and proclaiming the words and meaning of the Dharma, thus, the light endowed with wisdom
