and retinue and passing into sorrow. The differences are known by the sons of the Victorious One. That is called the Bodhisattva who has generated the mind. The all-knowing ones, past and future, and even those who have not come, after thoroughly examining the dharmas, whatever is accomplished and whatever is the ultimate good birth, and what is the accomplishment of the self-born ones, all those holy Buddhas know that they follow the equality of the three times. They never differentiate the distinctions of equality. That is how they enter the three times without difference. Whoever has such benefits, that is the fourth Bodhisattva. If these are well cultivated, that Bodhisattva will definitely arise for the sake of enlightenment. Thus, the fifth Bodhisattva is said to be perfectly endowed with means. He follows the skillful means and perfects it by starting with pure virtuous actions. Thus, no matter how much virtue is diligently done, it becomes the support of all the worlds, and it accomplishes benefit and obtains happiness, as well as love and liberation of beings. In order to subdue those who harm the world, he guides and makes them rejoice. He desires to subdue all sentient beings, and the power of the mind of passing into sorrow is also great. He knows that all the worlds are without end, and likewise he knows the nature of immeasurable and countless, as well as incomparable, inconceivable, unequaled, measurable, emptiness, unmoving, and non-existent. That is the fifth Bodhisattva, perfectly endowed with means, and endowed with benefit and love. Such is the teaching shown to him, taught by those who possess all qualities. He has no ignorance of all infinite sentient beings and the nature of dharma. He possesses excellent wisdom, is free from concepts, and has no conceptual thoughts. He is not distinguished by the gods and humans of the world. Even if he hears praise and non-praise of the Buddha, Dharma, and Bodhisattvas, and conduct, and words such as sentient beings are small or large, he is not disturbed in his mind. Even if he hears that sentient beings are afflicted or pure, easy to tame or difficult to tame, the realm of dharma is small or large, will be destroyed or will arise, the realm of dharma exists or does not exist, the Bodhisattva who understands the three times.

That. Surely thinking and all discerning, in this Buddha Dharma, the thought is very certain. Without characteristics and without nature, unreal nature and solitude, illusory nature like an eye disease, listen to such a peaceful and supreme Dharma. Thus, the irreversible Bodhisattva, regarding the Buddha Dharma and the Bodhisattva, and whether conduct exists or not, must surely discern. Whether it arises or does not arise, it does not regress. Has the Tathagata passed away or not passed away? Has he not come or is he not not come? Has he arisen or not arisen, is he exhausted or not exhausted? Thus, one characteristic or no characteristic? One and different, various many forms, ultimate meaning words and phrases, real and unreal, all are imputed, different forms, the irreversible Bodhisattva believes. Without characteristics and with characteristics, without nature and defined by characteristics, distinctions and mutual combinations, having heard, ultimately enter into this. The Bodhisattva who has become a youth, with body, speech, and mind as well, will perform actions that have results, and as desired, will show birth here. He discerns the thoughts of others, and practices their inclinations. He knows the conduct of sentient beings and the Dharma that accords with them, and also the destruction and formation of realms. As desired, he quickly attains the gift of clairvoyance, and his mind enters into all directions. Having heard the Dharma praised by the Sugatas, he does not regress in that. Complete knowledge and the shaking of realms, likewise blessings and discernment, how in an instant countless can go, the things to be done in the realm should be spoken. They mix countless questions, whatever the form of the body, they also show the mind-made body. In that, countless combinations of sounds, and in an instant, countless Buddhas are spoken. Whatever the Bodhisattva's successor, he knows the entry of sentient beings as it is. Their afflictions, continuity, and habits, and what is the field of activity, what is the combination, different Dharmas and what is the cause, the division of the world and the beginning and end, the truth of names and meanings.
