One settles the mind. Though traveling in all directions, one is not attached to anything, whether by body, speech, or mind. To realize the emptiness of the three times, one settles this mind steadfastly for the sake of enlightenment. Just as the mind of enlightenment is generated, wandering in all directions for immeasurable eons, making offerings before the Buddhas. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. In the various worlds of the ten directions, becoming the lord of the world, transforming into the sons of the victorious ones, whatever it may be, one proclaims the Dharma. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. When engaging in existence for the sake of enlightenment, whatever blissful conduct of the Bodhisattva there may be, one always praises it. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. The supreme Dharma, the excellent Dharma, the perfect Dharma, and whatever Dharma is superior and unsurpassed, all these are shown to the Bodhisattvas. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. The life of the Thus-Gone One, who possesses all qualities, exists only here, nowhere else. The Bodhisattva engages in this. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. How does one encounter the immeasurable, vast, and inconceivable Buddhas? The Bodhisattva should show it in that way. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. Whatever concentrations there are, and likewise the various forms of the lineage of concentrations, all these are spoken to the sons of the Sugatas. This is the teaching of those who do not turn back. Completely reversing the wheel of cyclic existence, perfectly turning the supreme wheel of Dharma, which is never turned by all the worlds, that should be shown to the Bodhisattvas. To all the worlds that are extremely suffering, and to those who are harmed by falling into the realms of misery, becoming their dwelling, refuge, support, and companion, that should be shown to the Bodhisattvas. Whoever settles the mind for the sake of enlightenment is shown as the first Bodhisattva. Having ascertained the instructions of the teachings as they are, establishing them as they are, this is his. Just as the teachings of those who are free from disease, in order to benefit all the worlds, thus, whoever initially generates the mind, this is the second, the first doer of deeds. Benefit obtained.

Loving-kindness, joy, and supreme bliss, Affection for relatives, suffering, and likewise, the mind of gathering, The mind of constant protection and the mind of equanimity, The mind of the teacher and the mind of equanimity-showing, When the mind abides in such things, One should apply oneself to hearing and reciting the scriptures. After much hearing, place them in monasteries. After becoming solitary, rely on virtuous friends. Make the virtuous friends happy. Know the time and possess mindfulness. After knowing the time, become utterly fearless. After being fearless, strive for meaning. After knowing the meaning, speak the Dharma accordingly. Do not be ignorant of all Dharmas. After being without ignorance, become a child of the Victorious One. Abide in the well-spoken Dharma. This is the description of the first worker, A Bodhisattva who has entered into enlightenment. This is the instruction, this is the teaching. Whoever studies this is a child of the Buddha. What is the third Bodhisattva? He diligently applies himself to the teachings of the King of Dharma. Impermanence, suffering, emptiness, Selflessness, immovability, Likewise, all these dharmas are not self, And without manifestation and solitude. All these are without conceptualization. The Bodhisattva understands in that way. Also, for the sake of examining the realms of sentient beings and the realm of Dharma, he is praised. The realms of the world are limitless and endless. Thus, he should be made to enter into investigation. From here, earth, water, and likewise fire, Wind and space, as many as there are, In the directions, desire, form, and formlessness, He should be made to enter into investigation of those. The nature of all the vast Dharmas and realms, Completely and ultimately should be investigated. He is the son of the Buddha who practices, It is taught for the sake of benefiting. Wherever a Bodhisattva is born, He is born into the teachings and makes them arise. The wise one understands the unreal and the real. He is born in the place of the sacred Dharma and is well-born. He does not turn back from his own ground. He gives rise to the thought of holding onto ultimate Buddhahood. He always has certainty and mind in the Dharma. How does he discern the nature of sentient beings? Actions, worlds, fields, and various ripenings.
