He holds aloft the indestructible vajra; he bears the unattached and non-conceptual bhandha. To symbolize the three kayas, he holds human heads, dry, wet, and fresh. He adorns himself with a three-pointed khatvanga to sever the root of the three poisons. His beautiful countenance displays eyes both peaceful and wrathful. His compassionate nature is like the face of the full moon. Upon a beautiful lotus stem, unstained by faults, he sits in the unmoving, great bliss vajra posture. He is surrounded by a retinue of dakinis performing the four activities. His emanation body is adorned with marks and signs. To the all-gathering Tötreng Tsal, I pay homage and praise. The Praise of the Eight Names: To the body of Padmasambhava, unstained and without fault, I pay homage and praise. To the body of Padmasambhava, perfectly complete in all qualities, I pay homage and praise. To the body of Lodrö Chokse, unconfused in all that is knowable, I pay homage and praise. To the body of Padma Gyalpo, who subdues the three realms and the three existences, I pay homage and praise.
