It is said that ordinary people should not engage in the conduct of yogis, yogis should not engage in the conduct of accomplished ones, and accomplished ones should not engage in the conduct of Buddhas. Therefore, ordinary people should practice the conduct of Samantabhadra, yogis should engage in secret practices such as the path of desire, and accomplished ones should engage in asceticism and ganachakra.

Slightly quoting the spoken scriptural evidence: From the perspective of the two truths, if the distinction between the true conventional is abandoned, and one becomes accustomed to emptiness, then the conventional cause and effect, good and evil, etc., will deceive others in the world. Relying on a little hearing, not understanding the meaning of complete tranquility, those who do not accumulate merit, those inferior beings will be destroyed. Thus it is said. From the Quintessence Tantra: The demon of emptiness view becoming a nihilistic view, the demon of being bewildered and meditating without meditation, the demon of acting with self-satisfaction without thought, the demon of noisy enjoyment and distraction, the demon of bad karma and associated companions, the demon of arising doubt and degeneration, the demon of wisdom without skillful means. Thus it is said. From the Samadhiraja Sutra: Those with conceptualization say existence and non-existence, such conduct does not pacify suffering, both existence and non-existence are extremes, purity and impurity are also extremes, therefore, having completely abandoned both extremes, the wise should not dwell even in the middle. Thus it is said. Saraha said: Whoever enters emptiness devoid of compassion, he will not attain the supreme path. However, merely meditating on compassion alone will not liberate one from this cycle of existence. Whoever is able to combine the two, neither dwells in samsara nor dwells in nirvana. Thus it is said. The wise Nagarjuna said: Conventional and ultimate, if one understands them separately, wherever they are completely integrated, it is said to be union. Thus it is said. From the Commentary on the Awakening Mind: Having known that all dharmas are empty, whatever manifestation of karma and result, this is more wonderful than the rare, this is more wonderful than the marvelous. Thus it is said. From the Praise of Transcendence of the World: In order to dispel all conceptual thoughts, you taught the nectar of emptiness, if anyone clings to it, you severely criticize them. Thus it is said. From the Sutra Requested by Sagaramati: One should also believe that all sentient beings are without self, and completely ripen all sentient beings with the four means of gathering, and also know that all dharmas are inexpressible, teach the Dharma to sentient beings with letters and definitive words, and completely uphold the true Dharma, and also believe that all Buddhas are distinguished by the Dharmakaya, and one should not be lazy in diligence in order to fully accomplish the excellent marks and signs.

Not doing (evil) deeds, and also realizing the nature of emptiness in all Buddha-fields, and also constantly striving to purify the Buddha-fields completely, if a great Bodhisattva possesses these four dharmas, then they are the completely pure means and wisdom. Thus it is said. In the Sutra Requested by Light-Holder, it is said: Also believing in emptiness, also believing in the ripening of karma, and also being able to endure without these, and also having great compassion for all sentient beings, and also his mind abides in Nirvana, and his actions also abide in Samsara, and also in order to ripen sentient beings, not expecting the fruition of generosity, Light-Holder, these four are the qualities of the Bodhisattvas' perfect Bodhi. Thus it is said. In the Sutra Requested by Light-Holder, Light-Holder, it is better to cling to the view of self as high as Mount Sumeru, but it is not so for those with arrogance who cling to emptiness. What is the reason for that? Because it is emptiness that completely removes all views, but clinging to emptiness alone is irreparable, I have said so. Thus it is said. Nagarjuna said: If one views emptiness wrongly, small-minded wisdom will be destroyed, just like grasping a snake wrongly, and practicing mantras wrongly. Thus it is said. These and so on are many common mistakes of Sutra and Tantra, especially the mistakes of mantra, the nine doors of falling into sin are: In the Sutra Pitaka it is said: Demons and Rakshasas, Rudras, great obstructors and charnel grounds, great gods, Yakshas, heretics, and hells, are the doors of interrupting falling into sin. Thus it is said. The meaning of which is extensively explained in The Wheel of Spontaneous Bliss: Obstructing the good thoughts and actions of others is a demon, not understanding and being stingy is falling into the door of demons and wandering in Samsara. Thus it is said. In the Sutra it is said: The Tathagata Buddha, through meditation and recitation, is like a similar counterfeit illusion, whoever clings to me there, is infatuated there, is holding the mantra of the Rakshasa of karma. Thus it is said. This is the mistake of meditating on the wrathful deity Acala in naked form, in The Wheel of Spontaneous Bliss it is said: Not understanding equality, in one's own mindstream, using the five poisons in the manner of greed and hatred, wrongly using one's own mindstream, is falling into the door of Rakshasas and constantly wandering. Thus it is said. Not understanding correctly and without confusion, wrong view.
