It is the nature of mind, pure and impure, distinguishing between clarity and turbidity. If one thinks that mind and nature are not originally one, like two brothers, then it is in accordance with extraneous non-Buddhists. One should know that apart from clarity and turbidity, they are not two separate entities. The bindu with five pure components spoken of in the center of the heart is also appearance-emptiness that is not established as a substance. If one thinks it is a real thing composed of minute particles, then it is in accordance with non-Buddhists. One should know that it is merely dependent origination, like an illusion. It is only said that the realm of the Dharmakaya is equal to the sky, the realm of the Sambhogakaya is spontaneously accomplished, and the realm of the Nirmanakaya is manifested in various ways. If one thinks that these are naturally established without cause or condition, then it is in accordance with the followers of the non-Buddhist Brahma. One should know that the pure realms are accomplished by the compassion and aspiration of the Buddhas, therefore one should accumulate merit and make aspirations. The impure realms are accomplished by the common karma of sentient beings, therefore one should abstain from evil and make aspirations for the benefit of beings. The cause of similarity and the empowering result are said to arise in the same category. If one clings to appearance and material reality, thinking that the stream of consciousness will not change into something else, then it is in accordance with the non-Buddhist view of characteristics. One should know that although there is no birth, anything can arise from the dependent origination of cause and effect. If one thinks that the self-aware and self-illuminating mind is a real, characterized thing inside, like the naked non-Buddhists saying that trees have life, one should know that there is no real, characterized mind anywhere inside or outside. If one thinks that the meaning of the Dharmakaya's all-pervasiveness is that it pervades everything, and that after attaining liberation, the mind dissolves into the Dharmakaya like the sky inside a vase dissolving into the sky, then it is in accordance with the followers of Brahma, the extremist non-Buddhists. One should know that the ground self-mind or primordial self-awareness originally abides in the nature of body and wisdom, and is manifested. One should understand that all dharmas are a single bindu, non-dual, self-born wisdom, unmixed, completely perfect. If one says that all dharmas are nothing, and that not-nothing is also not-nothing, and clings to this, then it is in accordance with nihilism. Guru Garab Dorje said: Some people, relying only on language, think that all dharmas are nothing, and that not-nothing is also not-nothing. This is very dangerous, it is a deceptive path.

It is an image of... Thus it is said. As for "not clinging to anything," if you block the scattering of conceptual thoughts, it is worse than the heretics. The scattering of various powers is the self-power of wisdom, so protect it without acceptance or rejection. Although there are countless refutations and bases for these, they are written to make the meaning easy to understand. In short, no matter what good experience arises, do not have the slightest attachment to it. No matter what rough and uncomfortable experience occurs, do not seek another way to abandon it other than observing its essence. No matter what seemingly profound realization arises, do not have arrogance and conceit. No matter how high the realization, strive to accumulate merit and virtue. Even if you know that samsara has no self-nature, be wary of sin and falling. Even if you are sure that your own mind is Buddha, strive to take refuge and praise. Even if you are sure that your own body is the deity, do not stop reciting the generation stage. Even if you see that sentient beings are not clingable, generate loving-kindness and compassion and make aspirations. Even if you realize that the lama is your own mind, generate respect and faith for the kind lama. If you practice these, you will be liberated from all obstacles and wrong paths. In this way, with the virtue of requesting the instructions for eliminating obstacles, in order for all sentient beings to quickly attain enlightenment, please recite this dedication. May the root of virtue be dedicated to all motherly six realms beings. Three times. The dharma session for eliminating obstacles, the nineteenth lecture. Thus, the view is emptiness, recognize your own nature, the practice is union of shamatha and vipashyana, recognize the union. Practice without falling to either extreme. After eliminating obstacles and wrong paths, by practicing with diligence, you can proceed on the path in stages. If you explain how to obtain the result, for people of lower faculties, it appears gradually. For people of medium faculties, it appears uncertainly as sudden transcendence. For people of higher faculties, it is realized simultaneously. Among these three situations, most appear gradually, so we will explain according to this situation. The Ganga Mother Sutra says: Karma is initially like the water in a small ditch, in the middle like the Ganges River flowing slowly, and finally like water and mother and child meeting. Thus it is said, initially the mind looks at the mind, and it scatters in all directions without stopping for a moment. At that time, relaxation is very important. Saraha said: Those who are bound strive to go in ten directions, those who are liberated abide without moving. Friends, I realize that inversion is like a camel.
