Just as darkness is dispelled by lighting a single lamp, merely knowing the true nature of mind as being without inherent existence will instantly purify the sins accumulated over countless eons. Furthermore, in the 'Praise of Dharmadhatu,' it is said: Mind is seen as twofold, namely, mundane and supramundane. Grasping at self is samsara; when individually recognized, that is it itself. Also, in the 'Root Collection Tantra,' it is said: The aggregation of thoughts is the dharmakaya, self-liberated. Also, in the 'Red Yamari Tantra,' it is said: Not seeing what arises from conditions, nor feeling it by its own nature. Birth and destruction, from where they arise, should be thoroughly examined. In this, there is nothing to be eliminated, nor anything to be established. Look at reality as it is; seeing reality is complete liberation. Also, Shantipa said: If it stays, let it stay; if it moves, let it go; do not guard it, let it be. Deliberately grasping is a mistake; look at the crow flying to the pond. Also, in the 'Mother Prajnaparamita,' it is said: Son of noble family, whatever actions of body, speech, and mind you may do, realize that all of them are empty of inherent existence, and your actions will become the fruit of nectar, ultimately becoming nectar. In emptiness of inherent existence, there is no such dharma that will be destroyed or completely decayed. Also, in the 'Ornament of the Victorious Banner Peak Sutra,' it is said: Whatever conceptual thoughts arise in the mind, examining mind with mind and knowing it to be without inherent existence is prajnaparamita. Not straying from that state is called samadhi. Also, in the 'Guhyasamaja Tantra,' it is said: Separated from all things, aggregates, elements, and sense bases, holding and what is held are completely abandoned. Also, in the 'Great Perfection Three Words That Strike the Vital Point Tantra,' it is said: O Secret Lord, your own awareness, unceasingly and clearly 'wal-le' (Tibetan transliteration, meaning bright and radiant), that is the Buddha. Your own awareness, unceasingly clear, inseparable from this, therefore, the dharmakaya of the Buddha is not to be meditated upon. Your own awareness, clearly 'wal-le,' it is enough to recognize that this is the Buddha. Also, in the 'Wisdom Lamp Tantra,' it is said: The Bhagavan proclaimed: The dharmakaya, not established as an entity, abiding in emptiness, the nature of your own awareness, clear and vivid, not established as the nature of any thing or color, abiding empty and clear.

This is it. And, Secret Lord, the Dharmakaya spontaneously accomplished, is that in the center of one's own heart, one's own awareness abides as a mass of clear light. Manifesting at all times is because the ground has not ceased. Because one's own awareness goes out from the eyes, seeing forms arises without ceasing. One's own eyes not ceasing, that is the wisdom of the Dharmakaya. The awareness that hears sounds with one's own ears, that is the Dharmakaya. One's own awareness going out to the nose, smells without ceasing from odors. The awareness that senses odors, that is one's own Dharmakaya. One's own awareness going downwards, the male and female organs meet, pleasure arises without ceasing. The awareness that experiences pleasure, that is the Sambhogakaya. Recognize that. And, Secret Lord, all discriminations appear to one's own self. One's own awareness returns to oneself. Like the ocean and a drop of water, one becomes enlightened. And, from the single son lineage of all teachings: Kye Vajradhara, listen! The essence, entity, and color of one's own awareness, without any essence being established, this empty openness is the Dharmakaya Samantabhadri. Just empty bliss, without falling into nihilistic emptiness, one's own awareness is clearly radiant, this is Samantabhadra. One's own awareness is empty in essence, and awareness is clear without ceasing, this is the one and only perfectly enlightened Buddha. Son of the lineage, this indivisibility of clarity and emptiness of one's own awareness, know that it is the one and only Buddha. Awareness, one's own essence, is clear without ceasing, this is Samantabhadra. One's own awareness is clear without ceasing, know that this is Samantabhadra. And, Orgyen Rinpoche introduced the naked seeing of awareness: Emaho! That which is called mind, awareness, flickering, flickering, flickering. Existing, there is not even one thing that exists. Arising, samsara, nirvana, happiness, suffering, all sorts of things arise. Desiring, it desires in the twelve vehicles. Name, inconceivable, separately named. Some call it mind-essence, mind-essence. Some non-Buddhists name it self. Hearers say person is without self. Mind-only ones name it mind. Some name it Madhyamaka. Some name it Prajnaparamita. Some name it Tathagatagarbha. Some name it
