Except for what has already happened, all Buddhas will not see, not see, or become seeing. What is the reason for this? Shariputra, the mind is like an illusion, completely grasping many births through the imputation of what is not true. Shariputra, the mind is like the continuous flow of water, not abiding, arising and then decaying. Shariputra, the mind is like the wind, traveling far and wide, impossible to grasp. Shariputra, the mind is like the radiating light of a lamp, arising from causes and conditions. Shariputra, the mind is like the sky, defiled by the adventitious afflictions of proximity. Shariputra, the mind is like lightning, decaying in an instant, not abiding. Thus it is said. Shariputra, the mind cannot be found even if sought everywhere. Whatever cannot be found is invisible. Whatever is invisible is neither past, nor future, nor present. Whatever is neither past, nor future, nor present is completely beyond the three times. Whatever is completely beyond the three times is neither existent nor non-existent. Thus it is said. In the Sutra Requested by Noble Jewel Crest it says: When that mind is sought everywhere, the mind is not truly seen within, the mind is not truly seen outside, the mind is not truly seen in both inside and outside, the mind is not truly seen in the aggregates, the mind is not truly seen in the elements, the mind is not truly seen in the sense bases. Thus it is said. Son of lineage, furthermore, what is the fastest, extremely fast, running without abiding, like a monkey and the wind, like the continuous flow of water and the flame of a butter lamp, running a long distance, bodiless, drying up on the object, the mind abiding, which is the object of the six sense bases, possessing other and different knowledge, focused on one point without scattering, without differentiating, focused on one point in calm abiding, without distraction, this is called mind abiding. Thus it is said. In the Eight Thousand Stanza Prajnaparamita it says: Mind is not mind, the nature of mind is clear light. Thus it is said. In the Samadhiraja Sutra it says: Without conception and without various conceptions, holding

It is without and cannot be shown. The mind also has no object. Therefore, it is called Samadhi. If a prince or Bodhisattva meditates on this King of Samadhi, they will transcend conceptual thoughts, escape hardships, and gradually transform into non-conceptual wisdom. As stated in the "Saṃdhinirmocana Sūtra": How does a Bodhisattva cultivate superior insight? The Buddha replied: By constantly focusing on the collection of objects, contemplating the nature of the mind. Furthermore, as stated in the "Abhisamayalankara": Enlightenment and omniscience should be sought within one's own mind. Why? Because the nature of the mind is inherently pure. It is not inside, not outside, nor does it dwell between the two. Secret Lord, the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the perfectly enlightened Buddhas, have not seen, do not see, and will not see this mind. It is not blue, not yellow, not red, not white, not of mixed color, not of the color of crystal. It is not short, not long, not round, not square, not light, not dark. Furthermore: All the teachings spoken within the assembly of Bodhisattvas are for the purpose of purifying the Bodhi mind and for understanding the mind. Secret Lord, therefore, if you wish to know Bodhi, you should know your own mind. Furthermore, as stated in the "Kalachakra Root Tantra": That which is seen here as unborn and unceasing, for the sake of distinguishing the inner knowable, is not different from one's own mind. Furthermore, as stated in the "Vimalaprabha": It is neither the characteristic of one nor many, neither existent nor non-existent. This is the Dharmakaya of dependent origination. Furthermore, as stated in the "Compendium of Trainings": It is free from the combination of one and not one. It arises instantly. This is self-aware wisdom, transcending the realm of speech, giving rise to wondrous things. Omniscient wisdom is its nature. Furthermore, as stated in the "Ocean of Dharma Sutra": If you know that the mind is neither one nor two, it is like wiping dust from a mirror with a cloth, removing all the dust. The darkness of an empty room, even after a thousand years
