Having generated knowledge in the Lama, one obtains the supreme state here; other methods are inferior paths. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, a pure and excellent intention causes all desires to arise. Pleasing the Lama cuts through the grounds and paths. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of the Immaculate Essence: Whatever Buddha is accomplished through the Lama, that itself transforms through the power of devotion. The Lama is the lord of all mandalas, the assembly of great and powerful deities. All supreme and common accomplishments arise entirely from the supreme Lama. The precious jewel that brings forth desires, any connection with it is meaningful. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of Empowerment into the Accomplishment of the Wisdom King: That Vajra Lama, the fortunate one, whatever actions of body, speech, and mind he performs, one should connect with them without deceit. Through the stream of consciousness of seeing and remembering, destroying all common defilements, melting them like the light of the sun, in the Lama, the Vajra of the three kayas, constantly trusting oneself, according to how his mind desires, pleasing him with a respectful mind, and constantly making offerings, that one is a son of the lineage, a fortunate one who becomes a field of bliss, ascending the great Vajra throne, he will definitely be prophesied as a Sugata, placed on the ground of the ultimate fruit. Thus it is said. In the Great Tantra of the Immaculate Essence: The merit of offering and praising the image of the Lama's body is immeasurable and cannot be counted. Merely seeing the body purifies sins, merely hearing the voice generates qualities, the aspiration of the mind and the mind merge into one, the non-dual wisdom Buddha, who is difficult to find in millions of eons, will be attained in an instant. Everything arises from the supreme Lama. Thus it is said. The secret mantra fruit is swift, and its unerring manifestation also arises from the supreme path of devotion to the Lama; therefore, one should enter into reverence. Thus it is said. In the Glorious Tantra of the Origin of Ambrosia: If one harms the Lama, destroying him with an unkind mind, if one kills him oneself, more than taking the lives of a hundred thousand sentient beings, this merit cannot withstand it. Having accomplished the Lama's activities, this is also the same as that. Thus it is said. In the Tantra of the Immaculate Essence: If one has no devotion to the Lama, even if one practices, it will not be accomplished; therefore, with all reverence, the Lama

May the body, speech, and mind be pleased. Whoever has faith and respect is a victorious son. The innate, co-emergent wisdom arises. Thus it is said. The Wish-Fulfilling Supreme Tantra says: By meditating on one's own lama as the deity of desire, at the crown of the head, one can cause thousands of millions of Buddha mandalas to be placed in the palm of the hand and circumambulate the three thousand worlds. By dissolving it into the heart three times, one can ward off hundreds of thousands of obstacles. Therefore, by constantly remembering, at the crown chakra, one should think of the glorious lama. Thus it is said. The kI Secret Treasury Tantra says: Better than gaining stability in a deity is to remember the lama for a moment. Clear, non-conceptual bliss and non-differentiation, that itself is achieved only through meditating on the lama. Other births and transformations are difficult to accomplish. Like losing a precious jewel, do not forget the supreme accomplishment. Thus it is said. The Lamp of Wisdom Secret Tantra says: Better than meditating on a deity with marks and signs for a thousand kalpas is remembering the lama, which brings great merit. Thus it is said. The Immaculate Secret Tantra says: In the presence of the glorious chief, the lama, the five families of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, peaceful and wrathful, uncertain, without defilement, the supreme body of bliss arises, showing the clear nature of reality. Thus it is said. The Immaculate Awareness Self-Arising Tantra says: The lama, the incomparable precious one, abides in the great bliss of clear light. I take refuge in the Dharma body of the lord, free from the faults of the eight extremes. Thus it is said. The Buddha Assembly Tantra says: In whatever field of those to be tamed, the method of practicing the lama is initiated, whoever diligently pursues that meaning is the seed of the Great Vehicle lama, transforming into the great lord of all. Thus it is said. The Secret Assembly Hundred Thousand Tantra says: If a student with respect for the lama makes supplications with a long and clear voice, and with a loud voice, I will grant them all accomplishments. Thus it is said. The Ocean of Wisdom Tantra says: Better than diligence and practice is to recite the lama's supplication once, its power can ward off a million demons. Even during the completion stage kalpas, better than abandoning distractions and meditating is just the appearance of the lama in the heart of one's own mind, which can ward off twenty thousand demons. Meditating, praising, and thinking of the lama will also accomplish the single fruit of Buddhahood. Thus it is said. The Tantra of All Dharmas, the Mind Itself, the Ocean of Wisdom says: The one who reveals the uncreated true meaning
