Instruction: This, called the "Hundred Syllable Mantra," is the essence of the hearts of all Sugatas, and it is the method for purifying breakages and obscurations. Now I will speak of it. Yogis, listen to me, you who have obscurations, breakages, accumulations, and bad habits! After speaking the Hundred Syllable Mantra in this way, whenever you recite it one hundred and eight times, all breakages will be replenished, and even those who have fallen into the three lower realms will be liberated. Whichever yogi holds it as their Yidam and recites it, that person will be regarded as a supreme child by all the Buddhas of the three times in this life and will be protected and sheltered. After death, they will undoubtedly become a child of the Sugatas. Thus it is said. In the Guhyasamaja Tantra of the Eight Commands, it is said: 'Confess the faults of mantra recitation and the breakages of vows. Visualize Vajrasattva on the crown of your head. The essence of turning the wheel of samsara inside out, which accomplishes actions and purifies stains, should be recited.' Thus it is said. Furthermore, for those who cannot recite the complete Hundred Syllable Mantra, it is permissible to recite the near-heart mantra of Vajrasattva, Oṃ Vajrasattva Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajrasattva hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om Vajrasattva Hum). In the Tantra of Vajrapani in Blue Garments, it is said: 'Those who break their vows will go to the Vajra Hell, which is seven times more painful than the Avici Hell, and their lifespan will last as long as space exists.' The method of liberation from this is to visualize Vajrasattva on the crown of your head and recite the six-syllable essence of Vajrasattva four hundred thousand times, and then you will not fall into the state of broken vows. Therefore, it is said that it is necessary to recite four times as much due to the power of the times. Reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra requires four hundred thousand recitations, and reciting the six-syllable mantra requires one million six hundred thousand recitations. If you recite that much with single-pointed focus and without mixing words, you will definitely replenish your breakages. This is the intention of the tantras. The actual practice of meditation and recitation is as follows: In the sky about one cubit above the crown of your ordinary self, on a white lotus and a moon seat, from Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) arises a white vajra marked with a white Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum). From that, the Bhagavan Vajrasattva, whose body color is as white as the autumn moon, with one face, peaceful and smiling, with two hands, the right hand holding a vajra pointed towards the heart, and the left hand holding a bell resting on the hip, adorned with various jewels as a crown, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and other precious ornaments, and
