Wherever they are born, they will die blindly due to impermanence. To explain its meaning in detail: Whatever arises from causes and conditions is conditioned. Conditioned things are characterized by impermanence. The Blessed One said: Monks, all conditioned things are impermanent. In the "Extensive Play Sutra," it says: Dependent on conditions, its nature is weak, and like the wind, it does not last long. Conditioned things are like the light of a lamp, quickly arising and ceasing. In the "Heap of Jewels Dharani," it says: All the world is impermanent, like illusion and water bubbles. The nature of conditioned things is changing, and nothing is permanent. Seeing mirages disappear immediately, there is no reality in them. Those with wisdom know that all dharmas are changing. In the "Extensive Play Sutra," it says: All conditioned things quickly perish, like lightning in the sky, not lasting long. Like unbaked pottery, they have the nature of destruction. Like a city of sand, they do not last long. Like bubbles, they are fragile and without essence. This body is like a collection of trees in water. Like illusion, the mind is bewildered. Like deceiving a child with empty hands. In the "Nirvana Sutra," it says: The state where conditioned things become permanent cannot be attained. All conditioned things are impermanent, do not grieve, Ananda. In the "Samadhiraja Sutra," it says: Just as when a great rain falls, water bubbles in the water arise separately. Having arisen, they immediately disappear, and there are no more water bubbles in the water. Know that all dharmas are like that. Impermanence can also be divided into: the impermanence of the external world and the impermanence of the internal sentient beings. Among them, there are coarse impermanence and subtle impermanence. The three thousand great thousand worlds of the external world are also destroyed in sequence by fire, water, and wind. Sometimes, everything below the first dhyana heaven is destroyed by fire, and not even ashes remain, just like a lamp being extinguished. Sometimes, when destroyed by water, not even residue remains below the second dhyana heaven, just like salt dissolving in water. Sometimes, when destroyed by wind, everything below the third dhyana heaven

Just as ashes are scattered by the wind without a trace, there will be seven destructions by fire and one by water. Then, destructions by wind will occur. The Abhidharmakosha states: "Seven by fire, one by water. After seven waters have passed, there will be seven fires, and then finally destruction by wind." Orgyen Rinpoche said: "Meditate on the impermanence of the outer container world. This earth is impermanent, grass and forests will be exhausted, dried up, burned by fire, carried away by water, without essence. Rivers have changes of increase and decrease in summer and winter. Eventually, fire and water will destroy the eon, so it is impermanent." It is also said: "The container world is impermanent, destroyed by fire and water." Furthermore, this eon will be destroyed by fire. The Sutra Requested by Sri Datta says: "When one eon is completed, this world will become the nature of space, becoming space. Mount Meru will also be destroyed and completely burned."
