Homage! By cultivating diligence in enduring the hardships of life and transforming suffering, many have attained accomplishment by listening to and practicing the Dharma, just like the biographies of Naropa and Milarepa. Therefore, to summarize the meaning: the main focus of meditation is the place, time, guru, and favorable conditions, etc. Such a situation where all the necessary conditions for listening to the Dharma are complete will not occur again and again. This time, obtaining a human body is meaningful! Think that this life is a permanent field for cultivation! Until this instruction is completed, no matter what matters or tasks arise, do not go elsewhere! Whatever hunger, cold, or sickness may arise, it is an opportunity to purify the sins and obscurations of past lives, so cultivate diligence and listen to the Dharma! Abandon all activities of subduing enemies and protecting friends, and focus your mind on the Dharma! Whatever past quarrels, future grudges, or disputes between people may exist, do not discuss them in my Dharma assembly, do not stir up trouble! Everyone should be harmonious, and listen to the Dharma with a peaceful and gentle mind! If there is fighting or quarreling in my Dharma assembly, this Dharma is the heart essence of Orgyen Rinpoche, the complete and great teaching, so the rules are very strict! The Dharma protectors of this Dharma are the Yaksha executioner Red Black God, the planetary demon poisonous blade, the mother goddess Ekajati One Braid Mother), the oath-bound Dorje Legpa, etc. If you create obstacles in this Dharma assembly, you will also be punished. It is also said that the fault of the next life is to be reborn as an animal for five hundred lifetimes, etc. Therefore, everyone should put their mind on the Dharma and listen to the Dharma quietly, it is very important! At this time, it is okay to do even just one Dharma session! Now, for the actual explanation of the main practice, there are also three parts: preliminary, main, and subsequent. There are also two types of preliminary practices: common and uncommon. The common preliminary practices are: precious human rebirth, impermanence of death, karma, and the faults of samsara. First, I will explain the instruction on the difficulty of obtaining a precious human rebirth, which is the root vajra verse spoken directly by the noble Avalokiteshvara: This leisure and endowment is extremely difficult to obtain. And, the explanation of this is spoken by the Great Compassionate One himself: The detailed instruction of this means: This body of leisure and endowment is extremely difficult to obtain. So it is said. To explain the meaning in detail: Leisure

That is to say, there are eight leisure times. Being free from the eight states of no leisure is having perfect leisure. The eight states of no leisure are: In the Sutra on Mindfulness, it says: "Hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, long-lived gods, barbarians in border areas, wrong views, emptiness when the Buddha appears, and mutes, these are the eight states of no leisure." It is said like this. How are those no leisure? Hell beings are constantly tormented by the suffering of heat and cold, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma. Hungry ghosts are burned by the flames of hunger and thirst, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma. Animals are foolish and ignorant, so they do not understand the Dharma, and therefore have no leisure to practice Dharma. Long-lived gods have no consciousness, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma, and have no opportunity. The gods of the desire realm are also long-lived compared to humans, indulging in temporary pleasures, and have no leisure to practice Dharma. Barbarians in border areas find it difficult to meet virtuous friends, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma. Those with wrong views do not believe in the Dharma, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma. The so-called emptiness when the Buddha appears refers to the dark period when the Buddha has not yet appeared, and the period when the Buddha's teachings do not exist, because they do not understand the Dharma, so they have no leisure to practice Dharma. The so-called mute refers to being born as a human, but being very foolish and having an unclear mind. Because they cannot understand the Dharma, they have no leisure to practice Dharma. A human body that is free from these eight states is a human body with perfect leisure. Considering this, the wise Nagarjuna said: "Holding wrong views and animals, hungry ghosts and birth in hell, without the teachings of the Victorious One, born as barbarians in border areas, foolish, mute, and long-lived, wherever one is born, these are the eight faults of no leisure. Being free from them and obtaining leisure, in order to prevent all births, one should strive diligently." It is said like this. The meaning of "abundance" is: one's own five abundances, plus the other's five abundances, the ten perfections are having perfect abundance. One's own five abundances, in the Compendium of Trainings it says: "Obtaining a human body, born in the middle land, with complete faculties, not having reversed karma, sincere faith in the object, these five are one's own perfections." It is said like this. That is to say, obtaining a pure human body, the so-called middle land, if from a geographical point of view, only the six cities of Rajagriha in India are, but here from the point of view of Dharma, it refers to being born in a place where the Dharma flourishes, with complete faculties, having male or female faculties, not having reversed karma.
