即使后来也能穷尽，念诵一遍六字真言的功德却无法计数。外面的八万四千由旬的海洋，能数清用一百根头发尖端沾取海水并滴落的每一滴水，念诵一遍六字真言的功德却无法计数。能数清希日树林的每一片叶子，念诵一遍六字真言的功德却无法计数。四大洲的男女老少全部变成七地菩萨的功德，也不及念诵一遍六字真言的功德。一年中连绵不断降雨的每一滴雨水都能数清，念诵一遍六字真言的功德却无法计数。总之，即使一亿尊佛陀在一个劫中宣说，也无法穷尽六字真言的利益。 红色佛陀至尊的口中说： 嗡 嘛呢 呗美 吽（藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 嘛呢 呗美 吽）。任何种姓之子或种姓之女，如果念诵这六字明咒，将获得无尽的勇气，无尽的智慧之蕴，拥有伟大的慈爱和伟大的悲悯。每天都能圆满六度波罗蜜。将获得持明转轮王的权位。将成为不退转的菩萨。将证得无上圆满正等觉。因此，受持并恒常精进念诵这伟大的六字明咒的众生，是有福报的。当他们念诵时，将有如恒河沙数般的佛陀聚集。那位种姓之子的每一个毛孔中，都将有无数如来安住。安住之后，他们会说：种姓之子，你获得了如意宝，做得好！ 种姓之子，你使七世的种姓家族得以解脱，做得好！种姓之子，你腹中居住的众生也将成为不退转的菩萨，他们会给予“做得好”的赞许。如是说。在末法时期，大悲

The outer ocean of eighty-four thousand yojanas, one can count every drop of water that is taken with the tip of a hundred hairs and dripped, but the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be counted. One can count every leaf of the Shiri tree forest, but the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be counted. The merit of all the men, women, and children of the four continents becoming seventh-ground bodhisattvas is less than the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once. One can count every drop of rain that falls continuously for a year, but the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be counted. In short, even if a hundred million Buddhas speak for one kalpa, they cannot exhaust the benefits of the six syllables. From the mouth of the supreme Red Buddha: Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：ओँ मणि पद्मे हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡 嘛呢 呗美 吽). Any son or daughter of a noble family, if they recite this six-syllable vidyā-mantra, will have inexhaustible courage, an inexhaustible accumulation of wisdom, and will be endowed with great love and great compassion. Every day they will perfect the six pāramitās. They will obtain the power of a vidyādhara cakravartin. They will become irreversible bodhisattvas. They will manifestly awaken to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Therefore, those beings who hold and constantly strive to recite this great six-syllable vidyā-mantra are fortunate. When they recite, Buddhas, Bhagavat, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, will gather. In each pore of that son of a noble family, there will be hundreds of millions of Tathāgatas dwelling. Having dwelt, they will say: Son of a noble family, you have obtained a wish-fulfilling jewel, well done! Son of a noble family, you have liberated the seven generations of your lineage, well done! Son of a noble family, those beings dwelling in your womb will also become irreversible bodhisattvas, and they will bestow the praise of "well done." Thus it was said. 此法甚为殊胜，邬金大师曾于授记五百末世之时说道：诸佛之慈悲，观音为大。然而授记中提到，有些未积资粮之众生，会轻视六字真言，认为其功德甚微，说：六字真言不算佛法。化身国王松赞干布亦曾说道：后世之人，执着于人见，于佛法中生起宗派之别，舍弃佛法之行持，说大悲咒嘛呢是老弱妇孺之法，从而加以轻蔑。这些人皆已入魔之口，来世必将堕入永苦之深渊。故当修持大悲法门，勿生疑虑。再无比此更近之成就，再无比此更殊胜之加持。又说：若能修持大悲观音，念诵六字真言，即可净除业障，获得菩提。不信此者，乃无宿世之缘分，故将漂泊于轮回之中。因此，当修持大悲观音。莲花生大师亦曾说道：以充满整个世间之佛陀舍利，并以七宝所成之佛塔，若能恒时供养，其功德尚可衡量，然念诵一遍六字真言之功德，则不可衡量。以恒河沙数之世界，皆化为佛土，若能于其中恒时供养香、灯、涂香、足浴等，其功德尚可衡量，然念诵一遍六字真言之功德，则不可衡量。嗡（藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओम्，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡），嘛（藏文：མ，梵文天城体：मणि，梵文罗马拟音：maṇi，汉语字面意思：嘛呢），呢（藏文：ཎི，梵文天城体：पद्मे，梵文罗马拟音：padme，汉语字面意思：呗美），呗（藏文：པདྨེ，梵文天城体：हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽）！此六字真言乃圣观世音之心髓。若每日念诵一百零八遍，则不堕三恶道。来世得清净人身，并能亲见圣观世音之面容。若能恒常念诵，则此生一切罪业皆得清净，并能获得圆满正等觉之果位。若念诵二十一遍，则能增长智慧，所闻不忘。

This method is particularly special. The Great Master of Oddiyana prophesied about the coming of the final five hundred years, saying: "Of all the compassion of the deities, Avalokiteśvara is the greatest." However, it is prophesied that some beings who have not accumulated merit will belittle the six-syllable mantra, considering its merit to be insignificant, saying: "The six-syllable mantra is not Dharma." The incarnate king Songtsen Gampo also said: "In later times, people will be attached to personal views, create sectarian divisions in the Dharma, abandon the practice of Dharma, and say that the Great Compassion mantra, Mani, is the Dharma of the old, weak, women, and children, thereby despising it. These people have all entered the mouth of demons and will surely fall into the abyss of eternal suffering in the future. Therefore, practice the Dharma of Great Compassion without doubt. There is no attainment closer than this, and no blessing greater than this." He also said: "If you practice Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara and recite the six-syllable mantra, you can purify obscurations and attain enlightenment. Those who do not believe in this lack past karma and will therefore wander in samsara. Therefore, practice Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara." Guru Rinpoche also said: "If the entire world is filled with the relics of the Buddhas, and stupas made of the seven precious substances, and if offerings are made to them continuously, the merit can still be measured. However, the merit of reciting the six-syllable mantra once cannot be measured. If all the worlds equal to the sands of the Ganges River are transformed into Buddha lands, and if incense, lamps, scented water, foot washing, etc., are offered continuously, the merit can still be measured. This six-syllable mantra is the heart essence of the Holy Avalokiteśvara. If you recite it 108 times each day, you will not be reborn in the three lower realms. In the next life, you will obtain a pure human body and be able to see the face of the Holy Avalokiteśvara. If you recite it constantly, all the sins of this life will be exhausted, and you will attain the state of perfect and complete enlightenment. If you recite it twenty-one times, your wisdom will increase, and you will not forget what you have heard.
