Furthermore, it is said: Even if one does not know or understand the Dharma, if one greatly respects and serves the supreme and excellent Guru, one will be liberated from the ocean of Samsara. Also, in the "Precious Stack of the Sacred Dharma," it says: By offering the supreme and excellent offerings to the assembly of the noble ones, by the power of that merit, one will have abundant resources in all lifetimes. Also, in the Sutra of Praising the Qualities of the Buddha, it says: Those who make even small offerings to the Teacher, the Sugata, will traverse all the happiness of gods and humans and attain the supreme immortality. Also, in the Sutra of the Noble Wisdom of the Victorious One, it says: Son of good family, one who desires merit should make offerings to the Thus-Gone One. And it says: One who desires all qualities should make offerings to the Three Jewels. Thus it is said. If one has the means, one should make both the Mandala of Accomplishment and the Mandala of Offering. For the Mandala of Accomplishment, generate the deity who is the object of offering. For the Mandala of Offering, generate the offerings and actually offer them. Among these, a Mandala made of gold, silver, and other precious substances has great merit. If one cannot find these, it is said that earth and wood are also acceptable. If one does not have an actual Mandala, one can generate the Mandala of Accomplishment in the sky, and it is also acceptable to arrange the Mandala of Offering on one's fingers. Alternatively, it is sufficient to contemplate both in one's mind. In the Mandala Ritual Text of the Great Accomplisher Kambala, it says: There are two ways to gather the Mandala: contemplating with the mind and making it physically. Offering with the mind is mental, while offering physically requires complete nine branches: cause, condition, preliminary, boundary, quantity, shape, color, and blessed adornment. Thus it is said, so if offering physically, one must properly arrange the quantity and color, etc. Here, brevity is the main point, and since Mandalas are difficult to find in cities and other places, the method of offering with the mind is used. The benefits are also mentioned in that text: The benefit of offering in this way is that one fully possesses the ten perfections, purifies the two obscurations, completes the accumulations, and the Samadhi Mandala becomes clear, thereby seeing the Nature Mandala. Furthermore, the fault of not offering the Mandala is that one will not gain stability in the Completion Stage. If one receives and meditates on profound secret mantras without offering the Mandala, one will also incur the wrath of the Dakinis. In that same text, it says: The fault of not doing so is: for completion

If one places the mandala without having attained stability, the dakinis will kill. Therefore, one should practice diligently and respectfully. It is said. That is to say, offering to the object of offering that is actually present, and offering by visualizing with the mind to what is not actually present, both have equal merit. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "To the Buddhas, clothes and so on, offer either manifestly or non-manifestly." It is said. If the actual substances for offering are not available, then by creating them with the mind, and by taking with the mind all that is owned and unowned in the world, one obtains great merit. As it is said in the Sutra of the Noble Jewel Cloud: "Son of good family, whatever bodhisattvas there are, those forms of flowers, or forms of fruits, those that are not my possessions and are completely unowned, offer them three times during the day and three times during the night to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas." It is said. "Whatever incense trees, or fragrant trees, or wish-fulfilling trees, or flower trees, or fruit trees, those that are not my possessions and are completely unowned, also offer them three times during the day and three times during the night to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas." It is said. And in the King Who Arranges the Three Samayas it is also said: "The jewel mountains that arise from the earth, and the jewel mountains that arise from the water, and the jewels that arise from the earth, etc., existing in various ways in the ten directions, those that are not my possessions and are completely unowned, I offer." It is said. And in the Bodhicaryavatara it is said: "In the world, such as the gods, fragrances and, incense and wish-fulfilling trees and jewel trees, crops of various kinds that grow without being plowed, and other ornaments suitable for offering, lakes and ponds adorned with lotuses, geese possessing extremely sweet and pleasing sounds, the sky extending to the limits of the vast expanse, all those that are unowned, taking them with the mind, to the supreme of the Able One, and to his retinue, offer them well, may the holy objects of veneration, the great compassionate ones, regard me with affection and accept these offerings of mine. I am without merit, a great miser, I have no other wealth for offering. Therefore, O protector who thinks of the welfare of others, for my sake, please accept them by your power!" It is said, therefore, by visualizing with the mind and offering, one obtains great merit.
