作为所依出现也难以获得，希求善法也难以获得，正确的愿望也难以获得。又，在菩萨藏中说：转生为人是困难的，获得人命也是困难的，获得正法是困难的，佛陀出世也是困难的。又，在圣妙树庄严经中也说：从八无暇中解脱也难以获得，转生为人也难以获得，获得暇满清净之身也难以获得，佛陀出世也难以获得，诸根不具足的情况不存在也难以获得，听闻佛法也难以获得，与贤善之人交往也难以获得，真正的善知识们也难以获得，正确的如理修行也难以获得，正确的活命也难以获得，在人间努力行持与法相应的正法也难以获得。又，在秘密不可思议经中说：世间佛陀出世百中无一，获得人身不是聚集的果报，唉呀，信心和听法，这样的百千劫也难以获得。如是说。入行论中说：如来出世和，信心人身之获得，以及能行善之根性，如此之稀有何时能行持。如是说。那么，因为什么原因难以获得呢？获得人身的因是必须守护戒律，不守护戒律不可能获得人身，因为守护戒律者稀少，所以获得人身困难。入行论中说：善业丝毫未曾作，恶业反而极增长，历经百千俱胝劫，善趣之名亦不闻。如是说。入中论中说：士夫戒律若断坏，纵然布施享富乐，仍堕恶趣受痛苦。如是说。以比喻说明难以获得：亲友书说：大海之中轭木孔，与龟相遇较之者，从旁生中得人身，尤为困难人王啊，故以正法而行持，务使具有彼果实。如是说。入行论中说：是故薄伽梵曾说，大海漂木颈之孔。

It is difficult to find a basis to arise, it is difficult to aspire to virtuous Dharma, and it is difficult to find correct aspirations. Furthermore, in the Bodhisattva Pitaka, it says: It is difficult to become a human being, it is difficult to obtain human life, it is difficult to obtain the sacred Dharma, and it is difficult for a Buddha to appear. Moreover, in the Noble Arrayed Tree Sutra, it also says: It is difficult to be free from the eight unfavorable conditions, it is difficult to become a human being, it is difficult to obtain a pure and complete leisure, it is difficult for a Buddha to appear, it is difficult to have complete faculties, it is difficult to hear the Buddha's teachings, it is difficult to associate with virtuous people, it is difficult to find true virtuous friends, it is difficult to practice the correct way, it is difficult to find correct livelihood, and it is difficult to diligently practice the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma in the human world. Furthermore, in the Secret Inconceivable Sutra, it says: Buddhas appear in the world one in a hundred times, obtaining a human body is not the result of accumulation, alas, faith and listening to the Dharma, such things are difficult to obtain even in hundreds of kalpas. Thus it is said. In the Bodhicaryavatara, it says: The appearance of the Tathagata, the attainment of faith and a human body, and the ability to practice virtue, such rare things, when will they be practiced? Thus it is said. So, why is it so difficult to obtain? The cause of obtaining a human body is that one must keep the precepts. It is impossible to obtain a human body without keeping the precepts, and because those who keep the precepts are rare, it is difficult to obtain a human body. In the Bodhicaryavatara, it says: If one does not do any good deeds, but instead accumulates evil deeds, even after hundreds of millions of kalpas, one will not even hear the sound of a happy rebirth. Thus it is said. In the Madhyamakavatara, it says: If a person's precepts are broken, even if he is rich in generosity, he will still fall into a bad rebirth. Thus it is said. An example of how difficult it is to obtain: In the Letter to a Friend, it says: Compared to a yoke hole in the ocean meeting a turtle, it is even more difficult to obtain a human body from animals. Therefore, O King, practice the sacred Dharma and make sure to have its fruit. Thus it is said. In the Bodhicaryavatara, it says: Therefore, the Bhagavan said, the hole of a yoke floating in the great ocean.
