One should know that it has transformed, and one should understand all dharmas as the single bindu, non-dual, the unadulterated and complete self-born wisdom. All dharmas are nothing at all. If one says that it is not even 'not nothing' and clings to that, it is in accordance with nihilistic views. The teacher Garab Dorje said: Some people rely only on words and claim that all dharmas are nothing at all, and not even 'not nothing.' This is a great danger of causality, it is a reflection of the deceptive path. It is said: If one does not observe anything and blocks the arising of conceptual thoughts, it is worse than the heretics. The arising of various powers is the self-nature of wisdom, therefore, cultivate it without acceptance or rejection. Although there are countless acceptances, rejections, and scriptural supports for these, they are written to make the meaning easy to understand. In short, no matter what good experience arises, do not have even a hair's breadth of attachment to it. No matter what rough and unpleasant experience occurs, do not seek other ways to abandon it other than looking at its nature. No matter what seemingly profound realization arises, do not have arrogance or pride. No matter how profound the realization, strive to accumulate merit. Even if you know that samsara has no self-nature, avoid sin and transgression. Even if you are convinced that your own mind is Buddha, strive to take refuge and make offerings and praises. Even if you are convinced that your own body is the deity, do not stop the generation stage and recitation. Even if you see that sentient beings are unobtainable, generate loving-kindness, compassion, and aspirations. Even if you realize that the lama is your own mind, generate devotion to the kind lama. If you practice these, you will be liberated from all obstacles and wrong paths. In this way, by the merit of hearing the instructions for dispelling obstacles, in order for all sentient beings to quickly attain enlightenment, please repeat this dedication. May the merit be dedicated to all motherly beings in the six realms. Three times. The dharma session for dispelling obstacles, the nineteenth chapter. Thus, the view is emptiness, recognizing one's own nature, the practice is the union of shamatha and vipashyana, recognizing the union. Practice without falling into the two extremes, eliminate obstacles and wrong paths, and by practicing with diligence, you can gradually progress on the path. Explaining how to obtain the result, for individuals of inferior faculties, it arises gradually, for those of intermediate faculties, it arises uncertainly, and for those of superior faculties, it arises all at once, there are three types. Most often it arises gradually, therefore, it will be explained in terms of gradual arising. For example, in the Gangga Mala it says: Karma is the first.

Like water in a canyon, the middle flows slowly like the Ganges River, and finally like a mother and child meeting. It is said that first, looking at the mind with the mind, it flows in all directions without stopping for even a moment. At that time, relaxation and observation are very important. Saraha said: Those who are bound strive to go in all ten directions, but when relaxed, they remain unmoving and stable. Friends, I realize that this is like an inverted camel. By relaxing and observing in this way, sometimes it remains still, and sometimes it spreads in all directions, appearing like water in a canyon, which is the second experience. Then, it is like slowly swirling and remaining still, like thoughts decreasing, even if thoughts slightly spread, it does not harm the stillness, just like fish swimming in water, which is the third experience. Then, thoughts do not flow much, and even if they flow slightly, they remain like water and waves, without moving from there. Slowly swirling and remaining still, this can be applied to all actions, the fourth is like the ocean not stirred by the wind. Also, most people only slightly experience the state of mind, slightly recognize some insight, merely seeing the three states of the mind's going, staying, and sitting, but recognizing its essence as emptiness is rare, only a part. Some people are too tense, and as soon as a thought arises in their mind, they think the flow is too much, so they chase after the thought, observe its essence, and seeing it disappear into emptiness, they remain in that state, thinking this is meditation. Continuing in this way, one by one non-thoughts will appear in the chain of thoughts, and this is also only a part. Feeling uncomfortable observing thoughts spreading far away, they pull them back to the heart and observe their essence, recognizing it as emptiness, this is the iron hook of meditation, and this is also only a part. Thinking that guarding this continuous stream of staying and moving is not enough, they artificially create a clear and empty sky, etc. Such meditation is the rainbow of meditation, without essence. When a thought arises, the place where it arises, the place where it exists, the place where it ceases, etc., observing the essence is only necessary at the time of introduction, not usually. So, how should one guard staying and moving? Whether staying or moving, just stare at its essence, without liking stillness or disliking movement, but naturally keep it clear, just like watching hailstones flowing in the sky, guarding it without importance, just without distraction.
