If, after ascertaining the meaning of the view, one meditates, how should one act when practicing? The root vajra verse says: Whatever action you do, look at it without abandoning the action. And, in the explanation of this spoken by the Great Compassionate One, it says: Whatever action you do, do not abandon that action, but look at it in the state of action. To explain a little the meaning of what was said: Also, in the Root Gathering Tantra it says: The conduct of the Great Compassionate One is: In the state of emptiness and compassion being inseparable, without effort, without acceptance or rejection, without doing, the benefit of beings is spontaneously accomplished. And, in the View Yangdak Tantra it says: Conduct is non-conduct, spontaneously in the state of non-action. And, in the Compendium it says: Walking, standing, sleeping, and sitting, be fully endowed with mindfulness, look as much as the yoke, and the mind is not confused when walking. And, in the Sutra Requested by the Son of the Gods it says: Do not make the view vast, because the realm of phenomena has no vastness or narrowness; do not make the conduct meticulous, because the three realms of samsara are a great precipice. And, in the Don Trig Tantra it says: Without attention, there is no wisdom and no confusion; there is no peace and no existence; there is no leakage and no change. And, Orgyen Rinpoche said: Showing the stages of conduct, there are the conduct of progressing through the stages of practice and the conduct of non-attachment and self-liberation. That conduct of non-attachment and self-liberation is: Conduct is free from acceptance and rejection, and mental fabrication; it is spontaneously liberated, unattached, unartificial, and relaxed; it is free from pride and clinging; it is equal in taste of pleasure and pain; it is without reliance, transparent, and free from the doer and the done. Moreover, the conduct of mantra has two types: secret conduct and vidya conduct. Secret conduct is to associate with karma mudra, in uninhabited empty places, steep cliffs, and snow, in places without essentials and unfamiliarity, in secluded places, mountain retreats, etc., to transform bliss into the path and practice the four joys. Great secret conduct is: to wander in all charnel grounds with transformation and various miracles, and to enter the gathering of dakinis. Although there are many explanations of vidya conduct, in essence it is: the yogi, according to his own dharma, should properly enter that path and conduct. Thus it was said, and if we summarize the meaning of the extensively spoken words: The initial practitioner

Like a crow's behavior, how can one be liberated from samsara and enter the door of Dharma? When entering the Dharma, like a bee's behavior, from where does one obtain the Dharma and practice it, abiding without breaking the vows? Then, like a householder's behavior, strive to practice the Dharma with various methods. Then, like a female deer's behavior, wander alone in solitary places. Then, to remove obstacles, with a madman's behavior, treat everything equally. When practice reaches its culmination, like a lion's behavior, without fear of anything, gain the confidence of non-retrogression. After attaining accomplishment, like a dog and pig's behavior, enjoy the five meats and five amritas, etc., and during secret empowerment, abandon shame and hesitation. Then, like a king's behavior, after one's own benefit is accomplished, greatly benefit sentient beings. In the instructions of Orgyen (Padmasambhava) to Langdro, it says: In general, behavior should be in accordance with the Vinaya Pitaka, possessing superior discipline; internally, like Anuttarayoga, possessing special methods of secret practice; secretly, at all times and in all ways, the three doors of body, speech, and mind should be in accordance with the Dharma. Among these, beginners should diligently strive in the ten Dharma practices with the three doors of body, speech, and mind, which is profound. Yogis should regard desirable objects as poison and practice secret conduct in solitary places like a female deer. Realized yogis should practice with unattached and non-clinging behavior. Whatever arises, deal with it directly and thoroughly without reservation. For those who have gained control over wind and mind, through the play of combining liberation asceticism and yogic conduct, wander in cemeteries, enter gatherings of dakinis, and practice various magical powers to subdue the impure. In short, whether it is the outer Sutra or the inner Mantra, whatever can be a companion on the path of liberation and practice; whatever benefits the Dharma, oneself, others, and sentient beings; if the three doors of body, speech, and mind are in accordance with the ten Dharma practices, it is profound. However, the thoughts, doubts, and fears of what is to be practiced and the practitioner are exhausted within. Everything is a play in the realm of the Dharmakaya, without attachment or clinging, it is very wonderful. So it is said. Orgyen Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) also said: Behavior also has five aspects: essence, definition, characteristic, division, and summary meaning. The essence of behavior is unartificiality. The definition is that there is nothing to be done. The characteristic is the absence of desire. The division is that whatever one does becomes Dharma practice. The summary meaning is that it becomes the path to Buddhahood.
