Unfabricated, spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, When placed in the great ordinary state, In the vast expanse of unchanging space, One will attain the body of Dharmakaya, free from birth and death. (This is one sentence) From the Tantra Equal to Space: Mistaken and un-mistaken, the essence is one. In beings, two streams of mind do not arise. This unfabricated awareness is itself. Let the clear light of awareness rest naturally. (This is one sentence) From the Tantra of Non-Abiding: Having known that the mind is unborn, There is nothing to meditate upon. Remaining in its own place is great bliss. Through the power of habituation, the supreme result is attained. (This is one sentence) Orgyen Rinpoche said: That which is called meditation is to realize and comprehend the state of the view above the stages of meditation, and to abide in that state. That is, in the essence of clear emptiness, free from extremes, through the gateway of possessing the seven-point posture, by placing the self-awareness of clear emptiness in the naked, thought-free state, a clear and sharp awareness arises. That meditation does not allow the grasping of the mind, it is not obscured by the knowledge of clarity. Meditating on whatever arises as it arises and is liberated is called the meditation of the nature of the mind. (This is one sentence) Orgyen Rinpoche's advice to Langdro Lotsawa: Meditation is just a term of words. The meditation of the natural state is non-meditation. However, from the pure basis of the above unerring view, To place the mind in a state of freedom, just as it is, is called meditation. In this, whatever appears of samsara and nirvana is one's own mind. The mind is empty, free from elaboration. The essence of freedom from elaboration is the nature of Dharmakaya, and in that nature, Unbound by grasping, unfabricated by the mind, The naked, thought-free, spontaneously liberated, primordial state. To abide in the self-clarity that is beyond thought and expression is called the meditation of the natural state. The essence is that at all times, all Buddhas, sentient beings, and all beings have naturally abided in that state from the beginning. Therefore, if you leave that natural essence unchanged, you will attain Buddhahood in years and months. In that essence of the natural state, for the Buddha, there is the inexhaustible wheel of adornment of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity. For the yogi on the path, there are high and low experiences of mind and intellect. For sentient beings, there is the appearance of ignorance and delusion, and the continuous chain of suffering. In reality, there is nothing to meditate on. To bring to completion the habituation of the state of non-meditation is the ultimate. There is no other method of meditation, even for the Buddha. Primordially, Dharmakaya.

Regarding self-nature, do not treat the untransformed, raw state as butter. Who meditates with conceptual mind? That person deviates from the path of liberation. Orgyen Rinpoche said: There are five aspects to meditation: essence, definition, characteristic, division, and conclusion. The essence of meditation is non-doing in the mind. The definition is non-fabrication in the mind. The characteristic is clarity and purity. The division is that although much is said, there is no attachment to whatever arises. The conclusion is that it is enlightenment in that very moment. Also, Orgyen Rinpoche said: Rest in the untransformed self-nature. Keep the body straight like a knife. Sharpen the gaze of the eyes. Bring forth awareness nakedly, and meditate by subduing appearances with power. When conceptual thoughts arise, do not waver the gaze. Experience awareness in the fundamental experience, inseparable from clarity and emptiness. Let whatever arises be self-arisen and self-liberated, and let movement be self-purifying. At that time, even abiding is emptiness without substance. Even moving is naked clarity and emptiness. Because thoughts do not follow external objects, abiding and moving are without distinction. The essence is emptiness, the self-nature is clarity. Even when power radiates without ceasing, it is self-arisen and liberated. In non-arising, become one taste, and cultivate within samsara and nirvana. If there is sinking or dullness, like sleep, powerless and dim, then sharpen awareness by saying (ཕཊ,phaṭ,phat,啪特), and then cultivate samsara and nirvana without elaboration. Do not abide in stillness. Movement does not depend on effort. It is grasped by essence, and on top of essence there is no separation. What is the one taste like? Both are clear in the depths. Form and color are not established. Appearances and emptiness are self-arisen and self-liberated, naked without meditation. Unceasing, self-luminous. The deep, clear, natural state, continue in that state for a suitable time. At that moment, even when nakedly abiding in clarity and emptiness, in behavior it is ordinary and naked. Various states arise without doing, and that is entirely the key to diligence. Therefore, always grasp with mindfulness and cultivate within samsara and nirvana. Even if you only meditate on one thing, a state of naked clarity and emptiness will appear. Even if you do not meditate, a clear state will appear without reliance. Its essence will eventually be elevated, and the essence of thoughts will eventually reach perfection. Here, for the place where appearances appear, there is no consciousness of grasping. The basis of meditation has arrived, and the essence of mother and child meet. Thoughts do not follow conditions. At the moment when samsara and nirvana are without doing and beyond mind, it is called the yogi of realization, reaching the beginning of the fortune of enlightenment. So it is said.
