That is the wisdom that realizes the nature itself. In the "Seven Hundred Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra," it says: 'If one knows that all dharmas are unborn, that is Prajñāpāramitā.' It also says: 'Completely understanding that all dharmas are without self-nature, this is the supreme practice of Prajñāpāramitā.' Also, in the "Bodhipathapradīpa," it says: 'Aggregates, elements, and sense bases, realizing the emptiness of their unborn nature, is completely explained as wisdom.' Thus it is said. The benefits of meditating on such wisdom of emptiness, in the "Twenty-Five Thousand Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra," it says: 'Even if one meditates on the Prajñāpāramitā for as little as the snap of a finger, the merit of that Bodhisattva Mahāsattva will greatly increase. If all sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand world systems were completely satisfied with generosity, well established in discipline, well established in samādhi, well established in wisdom, well established in liberation, well established in the wisdom vision of liberation, well established in the fruit of stream-entry, the fruit of once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, the fruit of Arhatship, and well established in self-awakening, it is not, because meditating on this profound Prajñāpāramitā even for just the snap of a finger, its merit will greatly increase.' Also, in the "Tathatā-sandesa Sūtra," it says: 'Shariputra, rather than listening for one kalpa, the merit increases more if one meditates on the samādhi of suchness for just the snap of a finger. Shariputra, therefore, this samādhi of suchness should be diligently taught to others. Shariputra, all Bodhisattvas who have been prophesied to become Buddhas abide only in this samādhi.' Also, in the "Great Realization Sūtra," it says: 'A moment in meditation, is more meaningful than if beings in the three realms gave up their lives.' Also, in the "Great Crown Sūtra," it says: 'Better than hearing and thinking for many kalpas, meditating on the meaning of the Dharma for one day increases merit.'

It is very great! Why? Because it keeps you far away from the path of birth and death. Furthermore, it is said in the Sutra of Entering into Faith: Accumulating the resources needed for the lifetime of sentient beings in the three realms is not as virtuous as a yogi meditating on emptiness once. It is said in the Ten-Wheeled Essence of Earth Sutra: Writing, reading, listening, teaching, and reciting the Dharma, even if done for a kalpa, is not as powerful as meditating for one day on emptiness. Furthermore, if you meditate on the meaning of emptiness, it actually includes meditating on deities, reciting mantras, and performing fire pujas, etc. Discipline, vows, the three practices of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and all the six perfections are included in it. It is said in the Hevajra Tantra: There is no meditation, nor is there a meditator; without a deity, there is no mantra. In the nature of non-elaboration, deities and mantras truly exist. Vairochana, Akshobhya, Amoghasiddhi, as well as Ratnasambhava and Amitabha Bodhisattvas. It is said in the Buddha Equal Union Sutra: Yoga will not arise through casting images or making molds, etc.; if one is diligent in bodhicitta, then yoga will transform into a deity. Furthermore, it is said in the Secret Ocean of Ambrosia Tantra: Why is fire puja performed? Because fire puja bestows supreme accomplishments and destroys conceptual thoughts. Burning wood and other things is not the real fire puja. It is said in the Vajra Samadhi Sutra: Without moving from emptiness, the six perfections are included. It is said in the Sutra Requested by the Excellent Mind: Not thinking is generosity; not dwelling on differences is discipline; not distinguishing is patience; having no acceptance or rejection is diligence; not being attached is meditation; not discriminating is wisdom. Furthermore, it is said in the Essence of Earth Sutra: Wise people who meditate on the Dharma of emptiness do not rely on anything in the world, do not dwell in any existence, and guard pure discipline. It is said in the Sutra Requested by the Son of the Gods: Having no arrogance about keeping or not keeping vows, that is the discipline of nirvana, it is completely pure discipline. Furthermore, it is said in the Non-Abiding Tantra: If one eats unprocessed, real food, all schools of thought will be satisfied, children.
