The ritual for gathering the Sangha of followers, called "The Ocean of Holy Assembly, River of Summer." Homage to Lotus Vajradhara. Garwang Dorje Changchen, appearing in human form, I prostrate at the feet of Dharmaeshvara. The daily ritual for gathering the Sangha, I write the vast depth of meaning in concise words. May the Dharma protectors grant their blessings. In a secluded place, on the eighth day of the waxing moon, begin by preparing the ground in the usual way. Anoint with cow-yellow, fragrant substances, camphor, saffron, nutmeg, wine, nectar, and red sandalwood, counterclockwise, and draw a beautiful mandala with colored powders. Inside, draw an eight-petaled lotus, and outside it, all ten petals should be red. Behind that, draw a double-layered triangular Dharmodaya. Behind that, draw a square with four doors, surrounded by the eight great charnel grounds, as is common. In brief, behind the Dharmodaya, draw a skull cup, surrounded by a vajra flame. Alternatively, it can be drawn on cloth or paper. Finally, on a red background, paint with red flowers or grains, arranging the assembly of deities to complete the mandala. In the center, place a copper vase; if a superior vase is not available, use any vase with decorations and a neck cord, adorned with red fruits, flowers, and other red wooden ornaments. Fill two-thirds with red sandalwood, saffron, amrita, and fragrant water. On top of that, place a mirror moistened with wine, smeared with vermillion, and in the center of the Dharmodaya, draw an eight-petaled lotus, with the seed syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) in the center. On the eight petals, write the vowels counterclockwise. On the three corners of the Dharmodaya, write Oṃ ཨོཾ་(梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), Āḥ ཨཱཿ(梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿), and Hūṃ ཧཱུྃ(梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), placing the mantra heads inward and covering it with a red cloth. In front of it, on the left side, arrange the inner offering of nectar. On the right side, arrange the torma, painting it with two-cornered patterns. Decorate with red meat and erect a small red silk umbrella. Around it, arrange the five offerings, together with the tsokhor, and once arranged, begin the practice. Daily, one can offer the dakini torma and meditate on the deity in the space in front. If there is no self-entry, arrange the vase and empowerment substances. After bathing, sit in a half-lotus posture on a red cushion. To the west, place red food, clothes, and other items, as well as a mala made of red sandalwood, etc. On the forehead, apply a tilaka with vermillion or red powder, which is the preliminary preparation for the practice.
